Post of the Month Winner Announced!
Every month, the posts are different. Yet the quality always remains exceptional.
Now, with no further delay: the Post of the Month winner for April 2013 is ... DukeofTuring!

This month's judging was difficult for our staff, and the final results came in incredibly close among some of the top contenders. What finally won out was the tale of a troll with an itch in his ear. It may not be the stuff of high fantasy, but it was entertaining, it was memorable, it was clever and inventive. I won't try to describe it further for fear of spoiling the introduction - so go read it for yourself.
The other nominations for April 2013 can be read here. Each is an exceptional entry and well worth the read.

| "Site Discussion" and "I'm Confused" Threads merged |

Two popular threads where users ask for help and report problems with the site, "Site Discussion" and "I'm Confused", have been merged into a single "Site Questions and Discussions" forum. This is located at the same url as the old "I'm Confused" forum. I've also added a redirect to send requests for the old "Site Discussion" forum listing (219) to the current one (240).
The two threads had overlapping goals, and this change should simplify the use of that part of the forums.

Another month, another fine selection of posts for our judges to wade through and enjoy.
Now, with no further delay: the Post of the Month winner for March 2013 is ... Sir Alex!

We and our hobby both have come a long way from the "you're all in a tavern" days of introducing new PCs to one another, but with this post, Sir Alex takes the game - so to speak - to another level. All too often, new PCs are simply accepted because they have the magical not an NPC aura about them. With this post, Sir Alex's character carefully considers what she knows of this new acquaintance, what she has heard and what she has guessed, using those clues to contruct a theory of the newcomer's personality and motives and chart a path forwards. It might be accurate, it might be wildly wrong, but it was crafted with care and logic and leaves us anxious to see whether these two can be friends or enemies.

Okay, it wasn't as climactic as I hoped it would be, because it turns out you guys are were a lot closer than we expected.
Within ten minutes, our team of bunny hunters correctly guessed that this year's Bunny was none other than Toba!
So, congratulations, Ytterbium, on your correct guess! We'll cook up some sort of prize for you soon.
