Barr-Al-Faadi; with Al-Karag, the Holy Desert at it's center, harsher than any plane or any other terrain. The strange denisens, heat, the sinking sands, and the "islands" that seem to move make this one of the harshest terrains. It is said that any who do suceed in reaching it's heart is forever forged.
The eastern coast is where most of the populace is and consists of the Seven Cities, which together is refered to as Parthia by the Aldavarians. the entire east coast of the continent is under the control of the Empire. The recent revolts, brewing for some time, based around the legends of a savior predicted to come, in The Book of the Holy, known only as the Prophet were bloody, costing thousands of lives. The Prophet was revealed to be a fraud when the young man was assisinated (supposed to be unkillable according to the holy text). The remains of the rebellion retreated into Al-Karag.
