As dawn’s light slips through the leaves, his emerald green eyes twinkled; the soft shades of light highlighted the auburn in his hair. He slowly rose to his feet, standing five foot four he was tall for an elf, but not the tallest, his lean muscular body twitched with the first movement of the day. From a pouch on his belt he pulled out a waterskin pouring some over his head before taking a large mouthful. Picking up his armor, a simple leather chest piece with well defined muscles and an etching of a bow drawn with a knocked arrow, he pulled it over his head and tightened the straps. Picking up his bracers, the same etching shown he pulled them over his hands. A black cloak hung from the coat rack, in one graceful motion, he twirled the cloak around his shoulders and shut the clasp. The last item he looked upon was his bow, sitting in its place above the mantle, he gentle picked it up, ever so slightly he ran his finger down the wood to the limb tip, grabbing the string he pulled it taught, using all of his muscle to get the string loop on the other limb tip. Caelreth was ready for his adventure.

A few weeks earlier Caelreth received a sealed note with a seal unknown to him. Slowly opening the parchment he was careful to remember the seal. Inside was a story, more of a desperate plea masquerading as a story. It talked of an orphanage that in the midst of a dark night was dragged into the earth, only to be spewed out a new vile place. That first night many went in, guards, elite soldiers, towns folks none came out. Then a force that must have been summoned by Heironeous himself appeared before the door. They shimmered in Heironeous’ light, hope. They entered and the town waited. Nothing, after a few minutes a few gave up hope, after a few hours more, and after a few days none had hope. That is where the story ended, it was signed The City of Greyhawk. It was indeed a strange note, one that Caelreth couldn’t deny. Taking the note straight to the village elders and sages, Caelreth didn’t know why, but he was drawn to know more.

In the elder’s chambers a great debate took place. A mysterious note with an unknown seal, signed The City of Greyhawk, perplexed even the wisest of the tribesmen. Out rightly it seemed more of a joke or maybe even an intricate trap. Caelreth was one of the tribe’s strongest warriors, and had been busy fending off an orc invasion. On the other hand the elders knew an orc didn’t have the guile to devise such a complex plan, or could they. Caelreth’s bow was one of the most feared in the tribe and losing him would hurt the elven forces, but he insisted. If this evil, whatever it may be, found a strong enough foothold in this plane, a small orc raid would mean nothing. The debate continued for days, the elders and wise men said no, but he wouldn’t listen. Before too long the elders started to realize that as easy going as Caelreth was when his mind was made up it was made up, it was his determination that made him such a good warrior.

Alas, the tribe’s council gave Caelreth the blessing of the tribe. They even saw it fit to give him the tribe’s Survival Pouch, a simple pouch that one could produce many useful items on an adventure. With his new pouch in hand; he started making preperations for his journey. He knew not what the future had instore for him, or even where Greyhawk was, but he knew he must go.

It goes to a total of 10 (3, 4, 2, 3). It will remain in the Cha score, now I am a little prettier.

Just the stat you reroll changes. You can't switch it for another stat.
