Appearance
An average built man, with less than average looks. Jacob's most notable feature is his strength and his general unappealing demeanor and mannerisms. He's rude, crude, smells bad most of the time, and doesn't give two shits about what anyone thinks of him.
Jake's shaggy, over-the-ears length hair sits atop his large, lumpy head and covers his overly large, mushy looking ears. His dull-brown eyes reside just below a prominent forehead which sports a near unibrow of a bushy brown. A full, dirty brown beard covers most of the man's lower face along with his sun-wrinkled skin.
A bit pudgy for his height, Ugly's belly pushes just slightly over his belt while his muscled shoulders still remain lean and at least somewhat broad. His unremarkable arms end in calloused, slightly gnarled, working man's hands.
If not for his sightly less than average appearance, Jake would appear just about as average as average gets.
Jacob is a barrel makers son, hence the name Cooper. His childhood was boring, except for the picking on the little kids part of it. He loved that part, and was good at it. So much so that he kept right on doing it even after he *ahem* grew up. He joined the local night watch as soon as he could, and the militia as well. Since then he has spent a lot of his time telling other people what to do, and what he thinks about how they're doing it. He absolutely loves arresting people and demonstrating his power over them.
Unfortunately nothing this good can last forever. One night while Jake was arresting some miscreants he accidentally clubbed one of them a little too hard. When the little **** landed with that wet sounding crunch Jacob knew that his easy ride was over. Ugly then found out what it was like being on the receiving end of those arrests and he did not like it one bit.
While he was spending time in a cell Jake decided what he would do when he got out. He knew that he wasn't going to be allowed back into the night watch or the militia, but the training the had given him could still be of some value. With gory satisfaction he recalls what it felt like running that cold steel through those orcs that attacked last year. The icy fear that ran through his veins and gave him laser focus shudders through him again and Ugly knows that the adventurer's life will be just grand. He'll be able to kill a lot of things and get paid for it!
