I'm sure Hestruck will be back. I've been in a game with him once, he was there as often as he could be.
I'd guess sudden internet problems. Those pop up often, and unless you have a way to get back online to post about it, you could be in the dark for a while.
Plus, if he lives in certain parts of the world, internet fixes could take a while. I also remember a mention of exams or something, so it could just be that.

Doesn't seem - matter - we haven't had contact with Hesstruk in forever. He said he would be gone for a week due to his father-in-;aw coming over, guess something got in the way directly after.

This did look like a good game...and I was really looking forward to exploring Vesper's character and watching it grow.

So when do we officially declare a game dead...and can reuse these characters for another game? I'd really like to see Vesper go further than this...but I don't want to put her into another game and then have this one come back from the dead.

Honestly not sure, I have seen games come back after being inactive for much longer than this... I would say give it another 2 weeks or so, and then assume it is safe to play Vesper in another game. Though I would still keep this on watch for a while longer, as he still could come back.
