A cigarrette is usually in his mouth, as was the essence of 1950s 'cool'. Superhero outfit! All black, close fitting burglar suit, with flowing black cape and beanie. Skin transforms into a craggy grey, and his eyes are a dull yellow that flashes when he is angry. Allegiance: None. Motivation: Redemption and Goodness Goal: Protect all, even those on a dodgy path. Power Attack Redirect Stunning Attack Teamwork (3) Powers: Device (1) (Hard to lose, Limited: only usable for transport - never EVER in combat, even to get from A to B): Jetpack (Flight 2, Super-Senses: Extended Sight) - In order to keep up with all the flying heroes, Power's writers gave him a "jetpack" that allowed him to fly at over 25 MPH and allow him to spot things from the air (ignoring the fact that he'd be hundreds of feet up and whipping around at high speeds). However, he was never actually shown using it in combat, even when chasing a running enemy. The truth was simply that the artist hated drawing Power in flight and certainly wasn't up to figuring out how a human body fights in mid-air. Immovable (2) Immunity: Negative emotional effects (1) - A true hero never gives up! Luck Control: Use hero points on another's behalf (1) - Writers, desperate to make the character seem essential to the team, often threw up their hands and had Power shout encouragement at teammates, which would inevitably lead said teammates to perform whatever heroism they were struggling with. It wasn't until the early Bronze Age that fans theorized Power had a low-level "probability control" power. Regeneration: Recovery Bonus & Recovery Rate (1 each) Speed (1) - Yeah, he's a martial artist. Of course he should be able to run like an Olympic sprinter, any time, anywhere. Makes sense. Super-Movement: Sure-footed (2) Equipment: Binoculars Rebreather Headquarters - Deceptively ordinary apartment (Toughness 5, Size Diminuitive, Features: Concealed, Gym, Living Space, Security System 2 (good locks)) Outfit Description: Similar to a WWII-era pilot, but with the headgear and mask removed and an impractical billowing cape added to the back. The sidearm is absent but, mystifyingly, the empty holster is always on his hip. The shining metal jetpack disappears and reappears from panel to panel, appropriate to its status as a clunky plot necessity. Complications: Powers is excitable, and easily roused to riteous anger when he sees innocents being abused. This makes it easy for canny opponents to lure him into a pit trap or rope or, I dunno, time freeze or something. Most infuriatingly, no matter how many times they do this, he never seems to learn. Device Rank 1 (Hard to Lose) - 4 PP The Clothing J7 was found in is an advanced polymer that won't be invented for roughly 200 years. It's capable of self-repair and assists in medical care for the wearer up to a degree. 1 Self-Repair (Limited to Proximity to Inorganic Matter) Immunity (Heat from Friction) +3 to Recovery Checks Immunity 2 PP Side effects from gaining his time manipulation powers. - Aging - Changes of the Timeline Outfit Description: The clothes discovered on J7 when he was found, the light blue form fitting suit is reminiscent of a lab coat and is known to repair itself. He's added flight goggles to help with his speed abilities.
