Firiel placed the vial of liquid Zorak had requested and took his coins. |

Elanor enters the shop, having first returned to her room in the tavern to clean the rotting flesh from her robes, and approached Firiel. "I'd like a potion that will make me quicker, and therefore harder to hit, and perhaps a wand that stores spells for arcane missiles?"

"175 gold pieces, please, ma'am." Firiel said as she gathered Elanor's supplies. |

Elanor grimaces, but no price is too high for the ability to hurt the enemies of good. Her newfound faith, she knows, teaches that all must be given in the fight against evil. So, handing over the money, she gazes wistfully at the last twenty-five gold pieces in her pouch. "I guess this won't buy me much here, will it?" she asks, looking up at Firiel hopefully.

"I have quite a few scrolls that can be bought for that amount of money, however they aren't as powerful as the more expensive ones." |

Delighted, Elanor smiles broadly. "What about...a scroll that will shield me from my enemies? Will it buy that?"

"Hey I need a potion of cat's grace as soon as possible!" he ordered slamming the gold on the counter. As he waited he tapped his foot in anticipation. He had put off coming here too long and now he was risking being late to the arena. It was a moment before he realized that he had just given orders a very powerful mage. a very powerful mage that could very easily turn him into all manner of unpleasant things, the easiest of which was ash. He gave an apologetic bow waiting for the flames to engulf him.

@Elanor
"It'll be 25 gold pieces for that." She said and handed Elanor her scroll. @Khaenon She handed the man his potion and swept the coin off of her counter |

Elanor handed over the money and left, preparing for several weeks' rest in the tavern (and perhaps a nice, warm bath) before the next fight.
