Mapping

  • Squares on maps will be 5' x 5'
  • Closed doors will be marked by a brown box
  • Open doors will be marked by a brown box filled with white
  • Secret doors will be marked by a gray circle
  • North is up (i.e. towards the top of the page)
  • Black letters on map represent PCs

Doors and Walls

Standard Doors
  • Unless specified otherwise, doors are closed
  • Made of wood and bound with iron
  • Opens in only one direction
  • Although heavy, the door can be opened by any creature small or larger. Tiny creatures or smaller do not have sufficient mass to open then regardless of strength.
  • Has roughly a half-inch gap between the floor and the bottom of the door allowing for air, light, smells, and noise to pass between rooms
  • Each side has a ring which can be used to pull or push the door open

Hidden Doors
  • Find one first :P

Walls
  • Made of worked stone
  • Old and worn, but still strong

Dungeon Environment

  • Completely dark, darkvision or a lightsource required to see
  • In general sound is dampened because of dampening wards placed when the dungeon was created
