Silence meets your declaration. Within the chapel sits a small stone alter. Atop this alter sit two guttering candles. Behind the alter is a shattered stained glass window depicting Pelor armed with a morningstar and shield, defending a small child from a massive flock of bat-like demons, however the missing panes of glass make it appear that child and Pelor are missing large chunks of their faces. To the immediate left and right are four doors, from the scale of the outside they most likely lead into storage rooms or the priest's quarters.

Zool walks in and lays the body of the old man on one of the pews and walks over to the candles, pulls out 2 of his owns, lighting them with the dieing flames and replaces them, tossing the 2 small nubs of the candles into his pack after extinguishing them. He get an idea and clears his throat and speaks in a strong voice.

They say the gods have abandoned Barovia but I beg you to shine your light upon those who are lost and protect those who are left that have committed no wrong to to bring upon them a death most gruesome. We pray for thy blessing and guidance sovereign. Ah-men." He looks to the old man and sighs at the visible fact that they are the only 2 left. "This is all I can do for the people at the tavern." ooc hoping to draw out anyone who might be hiding by asking for the blessings of Pelor.also you get a healing potion since the others took off or did I already give it to you.) |

Before you get a chance to make it half way to the altar a wild haired old man leaps up from behind it. "You shall NOT take my son from me!" He quickly reads something from a scroll and points to Zool. "Come to me and face judgement!" You feel oddly compelled to do as he says. It won't hurt ot come a little closer....

Zool feels the overwhelming urge to do as the man says. He feels himself step forward, then suddenly realizes what he's doing. He stops and shakes off the spell as the man pulls out another scroll.

Zool runs up and behind the undead and draws his sword ready to makes a long leveled attack on the zombies legs. Zool regretted not getting a net when at the general store.
