Character Creation Notes
Characters will be built using the standard 22 point buy. Each character may have one (1) magic item rated for level 1. "Minor" magical items don't exist by default (ie. sunrods and everburning torches and the like) the Standard Adventurer's Kit instead comes with 4 regular torches and 10 Survival Days (DS book) instead of regular rations. Weapon Breakage follows the Fumbling Breakage optional rule with a slight modification: on a roll of 1 your weapon has a 50% chance or breakage Classes allowed: anything from the available sourcebooks except Divine Power Source classes Races Allowed: only those as detailed in the Dark Sun Campaign Setting Sourcebooks: PHB 1,2,3 Martial Power Primal Power Psionic Power Dark Sun Campaign Setting Adventurer's Vault 1, 2 Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting (swordmage class) Other: The Wild Talent optional rules will not be used in this game, though the Dark Sun Themes will be. |
