So sowrdsage has more skill points than a rouge of equal intelligence? doesn't the rouge basically exist for skills?

In that effect, i would move the Rogues skill up to the same modifier. In all honesty, I saw the Rogue as the trapfinding silent killer, not really the skillwhore. lol. Do we have any rogues?

I'm pretty sure the x6 is a typo lol. Somehow one of the most OP classes in the game getting more skill points then a rogue makes very little sense to me =P

See, this is why I asked. I usually went with x6, but I know lots of people don't, so I wanted to know which I should do. I really just see the initial x6 as the ability to diversify--since in order to do half the maneuvers you need the matching skill, that pretty much zaps your points.

EDIT: Picked up the Skill Tricks Assume Quirk and Second Impression from the Complete Scoundrel's book. For anyone unfamiliar: If I disguise myself as your best friend, you get no special bonus to seeing through my disguise. And if anyone sees through a disguise I have on, I can immediately make a bluff check to explain it away.

"What's that? You saw a patch of curly brown hair underneath my long dark hair? Ah, you caught me. I was trying a different style a while ago and must have missed a spot when putting it back. It wasn't for me..."
