The gnome grinned sheepishly at the alchemist before rubbing his eyes with one hand.

I am desperately tired, and will probably be looking for a place to rest. If your idea works and Eyoras and I are returned to our natural states, however temporarily, that is not a permanent fix. I think Eyoras will need some healing. Also, I think I would like to find a way to cure my ailment. Even with the stone- it'd be nice to be free of this. Other than that- who knows? I will perhaps get myself into trouble trying to learn more about handling magic.

Aye, ye should get yourself some rest after ye find him some help; though I dunna' know where ye' can find help, the local priest' wenta' missing a bit ago and they closed the temple yesterday, but ye may find someone. The inns in town are good for whatt ye' need but I dunna' blame you if you dont want to visit em, ye can stay the night with me if ye want

The yellow liquid in the bowl begins to bubble over, with large, slow, oozy pops.

Oh. I Guess that means shes' done!

The dwaf simply puts his fingers into the concoction and removes the two thirds of the pearl, though instead of jet black, they are a radiant white. You take one of the pieces in your hand, and initally feel nothing. After a several second wait, you can feel the blackness in your veins receding, as though an iceberg were retreating from a warm shore. Apparantly the others can see this happening as their eyes widen noticeably.

Quickly you put the other white piece on Eyoras chest, and it must effect him more profoundly, as the disease itself did. He appears conscious, though disoriented and apparantly unable to speak.

The cat is the first to comment.

Well, jolly! It seems all is in order. Anshar, grab the creature and lets be off! We've more to do.

The cat snatched the third, still black piece, in its mouth and exited the building quickly, followed by Anshar. You have a feeling you'll see those two sometime again.

I think the inn I stayed at when we first got back into town will work.

Aeth simply chuckled as the two departed. Feeling much better with the white stone in his possession, the gnome walked over to his friend.

Good morning, sir! How do you feel?

Eyoras looks at you, looking as though he is about to speak, you move your head in closer to hear if he might be whispering to you

until he unloads what is left of his stomach upon you.

What did you say? eurgh. Need a place to sleep...maybe here is good...

Aetheorcyn grimaced at his now more soiled clothing, but decided to shrug it off.

Looks like I could use a bath and some clean clothes.

He bowed to the dwarf alchemist, asking for his help in getting Eyoras to an inn where they could stay.

You lay down in your warm sheets, new clothes set upon the chair near the entrance of the room. You look to you right and Eyoras is sound asleep, apparently having been mended. You don't recall much of the intervening trip, but know that the Dwarf paid for your room and board, and you make a mental note to thank him before you depart; falling asleep immediately after.

Unsure of the time, though fully rested, you peer over your bedding to see Eyoras sitting on his bed, looking both in wonderful health, and thoroughly confused.

You level up while you sleep! You've earned it
