Nodoka was quick to retrieve her equipment, sparing no words with Seido who had taken her place in the arena. Sliding her throwing knives and gun back into their respective holsters, Nodoka exited, still fuming that she failed to ward off the genjutsu cast on her. Rejoining the attendant placed in charge of her, nodded her compliance to visit whatever medic they had on hand before moving to the booth with the other member of their team.

Seido has heard legends of how fast a cowboy's draw is, but so far he is unimpressed. The young ninja recognizes that this battle is especially important as he needs to win it in order to prove to his ally that guns do not beat fists in combat. He charges as soon as the word go is announced and hits the gunman head-on with his arm, taking advantage of the situation to deliver a piercing jab with his hand to the opponents stomach.

 


AC is currently 22

Leaning forward and watching Seido with some interest, Larry takes in Seido's moves and techniques, filing them away for later along with what he'd observed about Nodoka and the rest of his team. When the former returns to the box, he waves her over. "Hey - you didn't do too badly."

Seido's sudden burst surprises the cowboy who does not have time to react before he finds a fist pushing in on his sternum. Seido could swear he heard a crack upon impact.. The cowboy uses the moment of the punch to drive himself backwards his hand reaches for his side and turns one of the holstered guns towards his opponent. The holsters bottom is missing allowing him to shoot from where it is.

Seido releases a defining "Hah!" as he easily dodges bullets from his opponent. He takes a second to glance up to the window with a smirk before taking a blade from his side-pocket and tossing it at his opponent with what force he could manage.

As the bullet lodged itself in the hard dirt beneath them the blade Seido threw tore into the left leg of the cowboy. His face still mostly hidden gave no indication of what his reactions were. In bizarre fashion he begins to drop the guns on his belt and toss them in various places. By Seido's count there was about 6 of them now scattered in no particular order but only two them were tossed behind him. Once he finished the cowboy stood with his hands on his two guns left. About 15 feet from Seido.


(He spent all his actions tossing his guns around. I'll give you a quick gun position as best I can. The S is Seido)

Seido didn't know much about gunjutsu, but he knew enough to know that a secret technique was coming and that he wanted to stop it before it happened. As soon as the last gun hit the ground Seido grabbed the gun closest from the spot on the ground, pointed it at the cowboy, and opened fire haphazardly.

Actions:
Move: Grab gun at X above S.
Attack: Fire Gun, untrained.

1d20+6 (9)+6 Total = 15

Seido's shot goes wide. Guns were definitely not his strong point. The cowboy retretreats making handsigns as he does. He clearly wants to put some distance between him and Seido. Once he finishes the hand signs the guns sink into the ground. Seido can feel the one tugging at him in his hands. (Str DC 12 to hold on to it or else drops and sinks.)

(Are your eyes still active? If so he can see the chakra connections running to all of the guns from the cowboy.)

"Sh*t." Seido says as he realizes that the gun is not firing the way he wanted it to. He'd always assumed that using guns was easy. He never realized there was some level of skill involved. He fires another shot at his opponent before closing the distance once more.

Attack Action: Fire Again
Move Action: Close the distance and move into melee position if possible

Dice Roll:
1d20+6 (10)+6 Total = 16


Dice Roll:
2d6 4, 4 Total = 8


Opponent will get an attack of opportunity if Seido manages to get into combat, though he would have to make it with weapons on hand ^-^

Seido once again misses with his shot as he moves in to close the gap. He rushes in and his opponent passes up an opportunity to attack Seido in the process. Instead he continues with another series of handsigns.

I've got you surrounded pilgrim. As he speaks five clay like "cowboy" looking figures rise up from the ground with guns in hand. Say hello to the gang. He begins to retreat to take position behind one of the figures. With his eyes Seido understands that this must be consuming an incredible amount of chakra. Two of the new cowboys raise their guns and fire at Seido.

(Your position by now is the bottom most right x area. He is moving North.)

Seido frowns as he dodges several more shots. Damn. If only his training had gotten as far as he had intended before the tests had started... his opponent's technique would not even be an issue. But it was too late now to worry about that. Seido had to find a way to finish this before one of these attacks actually managed to hit him, yet he knew he really only had the one trick up his sleeve. This could prove... problematic. So be it. "Yes, it's a shame that you won't be able to utilize that advantage." Seido moved as close to the real clone as he could before dropping a smoke bomb.

Actions:
Move: Move 25" towards real opponent.
Attack: Drop Smoke Bomb granting 50% miss to all attacks and an inability to locate by sight. This should not apply to Seido because he is seeing via chakra

Smoke filled the area but as it did the whole mountain shook violently. Pieces of the ceiling fell and barely missed the two combatants 2 of the cowboy clones were not so fortunate. A strong wind swirled in moving the smoke from the area. Nodoka and her attendant had just returned from med ninja facility. Her attendant was the one who used the wind to clear up the area. Her eyes met with the old man in the booth.

Several figures blurred through Larry's field of vision of the arena floor. The cowboy looked towards Mr. Urasawa who in turn made a gesture. The cowboy turned to his combatant tipped his hat and ended the jutsu. He immediately opened fire drawing a ninja clad in Gray out of the distant shadows. Four others rushed in as more ninja propelled down from the ceiling. One was the large man Nodoka had met in the early round.

Over the loud speaker Mr. Urasawa issued a command to his contestants to flee.


The old man shatters the glass of the viewing area with a swift kick. Everyone in the room pauses for the briefest second as the chakra signature in the room shoots through the roof. Dragon of the black shadows hear your masters call. Shadow Death Dragon Jutsu! Once again the place shakes and a large dragon of utter blackness smashes through the wall and consumes two ninjas in it's jaws before barreling out the other end. He nods to Larry and leaps down into the fray.

Seido scowls. How inconvenient. Still he tries to mimic the attitude of his opponent as the enemy ninja appear. He almost reaches for his last kunai before choosing a shuriken instead and tossing it at the enemy with what precision he can muster at the moment. At the same time he looks around, trying to spot what Nadoka and Larry are doing. Chances are they will need to leave soon as these opponents could easily be a grade above what Seido and the others are used to.

Combat:
Move: Maneuver into a proper position to do everything he did
Attack: Toss a Kunai

Nodding at the old man, Larry picks the blue scroll for himself before stuffing the other items into his backack and sliding the bracelet from the old man onto his wrist. He runs over to the edge of the spectator stands and vaults over, landing in the arena next to Seido. "We can chuck kunai some other time, this fight is way above our weight class," The young man jerks his thumb over his shoulder at the farthest tunnel. "The old man said that's our way out, and I suggest we take it."
