OK, cool. Oh, I meant to ask, too - what's the XP situation like? It seems like a while since that was updated, so has any more been earned?

Retreating from the battle awards no EXP, and since the dwarves have split you've not done much except explore. Did horseman approve a rule for earning exp for work? You might've gotten some change when you went hunting.

I'm not entirely sure what Horseman approved, but as most of this particular game revolves around working, I can only assume xp was awarded for work.

I'll do some digging later. In the meantime, I'll award EXP based on accomplishments, or other major tasks. Helping around the colony during the winter would provide plenty of opportunities.

Just as an FYI, my internet connection is being really screwy lately - up and down without warning - so my posting rate is not what it could be right now. Hopefully it'll be cleared up soon.

Don't worry about it. Most of my family became violently sick and I was bedridden over valentine's. (Not like I had one of those girlfriend things...)

Anyway, it helped me put into perspective the time I was spending about the board, and I don't think I'm able to fill my commitment to DM this game. I might still post sporadically, but I don't think it will happen more than once a month. If you want to leave the game, or simply put up with the dismal posting rate, I'll understand either way.

In the meantime, you've completed chapter one by managing to hunker down for the harsh winter. The food situation is lacking, and you will take penalties in the next chapter if I get around to it. Frankly, I never had the chance to plan this far ahead, so I don't know what you'll find in the mountain, or what the NPCs will do throughout the winter.

I think this settlement is pretty much dead. We'll just assume they merged with some other Dwarven settlement somewhere. Thanks for the great game.
