CHARACTER SHEET
Name: Archibald Prescott Gender: Male Age: 32 Race: Half-elf Alignment: Neutral Evil Class: Warlock 5/Mindbender 4 (final build Warlock 11/Mindbender 9) Role: Ranged Damage, Debuffing, Party Face/Brainwasher Pros: Eldritch blasts and invocations mean he's never defenseless, brainwashing people skills without the annoying twang of a ukulele. Cons: Melee? Lol no. Multiclassing with Mindbender kinda stunts the already limited number of invocations. Appearance: A man of somewhat short and slim stature with unkempt brown hair sticking out from under the hood of his pitch black cloak. Besides that, the man’s attire is a fairly average long sleeved tunic, pants and boots, all in differing shades of dark grey and black. A long piece of red cloth is wrapped around his skull in a manner that covers his missing right eye, the remaining eye being a hauntingly purple shade of blue. Various thin chains are wrapped intricately around his hands and forearms, the metal links making a faint clinking sound whenever Archibald moves his hands. Personality: Archibald likes to maintain a professional, almost apathetic, disposition as a front. But sooner or later, his real personality begins bleeding through and one can witness his true colors. For starters, he is much more mouthy than he'd ever be willing to admit, any conversation where he feels he must prove his self worth having a tendency to be needlessly prolonged. Another factor that plays into this would be Archibald's fierce determination that allows him to charge headfirst into any challenge regardless of the risk involved. But what seems like determination, persistence and confidence to one person can be seen as eccentric and zealous arrogance by others, and the thin line between the two is indeed very blurred when it comes to Archibald. He is also very demanding and accepts nothing but the very best from himself as well as his comrades, but, thankfully, at a lesser extent as to not aggravate them. The whole zealous hot-head part does enough of a job at getting him into trouble as it is, but he always seems to find a way to get by, be it with his thick skull or his various invocations that help him coerce people to see things his way. But despite all of this, Archibald somehow ends up being a very attaching person, if he considers you interesting enough, that is. Is it the serious air of his impression that make him stand out as a trustworthy professional? Is it his exuberhant determination that makes him oddly interesting? Or is it something much more sinister, something in relation to how he's able to generate blasts of energy and sicken opponents at will? Background: Son of Fendrel Sightseer, a self-proclaimed religious leader who was attempting to form a cult that worshipped the Fifth Element of Darkness. Darkness was, according to Sightseer, the supposed fifth child of Mother Nature and Father Sky that had been shunned due to it being too powerful for them to control. And according to Fendrel, he himself was the physical embodiment of Darkness that could reshape the world if he had enough followers. Obviously the man was no more than a deranged lunatic who happened to actually have arcane powers, but he was very convincing with his demonstrations of power, so he did manage to rally a few cultists to his cause, one of which was Archibald's mother. Predictably enough, Fendrel was executed on charges of heresy once the major population caught wind of his cult. After Fendrel's death, the rest of the cultists seemingly vanished as if it had never been, but somewhere in the aftermath, a baby was found to have belonged to the disbanded group. A baby with the same haunting purplish blue eyes as Fendrel Sightseer himself. The Clerics in a temple of worship decided they would take care of the infant. The boy was much too young for Fendrel to have influenced him in anyway, so they assumed they had nothing to worry about. They weren't exactly right. Sometime during his adolescence, Archibald began exhibiting some of the same powers that his father had been known to utilize. Fearing that these powers would lead Archibald to follow in his father's footsteps, his adopted family quickly reprimanded him, warning him to never use his abilities again. But Archibald refused to listen to the Clerics and continued practicing, only in secret. Eventually however, they found out of this treachery and, in an attempt to grab him, accidentally shoved him against the corner of a table, causing him to lose his right eye. This obviously soured Archibald's already weak opinion on his caretakers, so after cursing them all to an afterlife in Hell, ran off and decided to start fending for himself. Which was surprisingly easy, once he learned how to master his abilities. Mercenary work obviously came naturally to him thank to his offensive invocations, and his less flashy abilities made people practically eat out of his hand, which meant he could act as a last minute diplomat for certain contracts. But was this how Archibald was going to spend the rest of his days? The old routine was growing very dull, and history had already shown how dangerous a bored, hot-headed Warlock could be... Character Sheet
Finalizing skills and feats. Also, I do not know what equipment we are allowed along with starting gold. ECL: 9 Abilities: 32 Point-buy HP: 92 + Con Name: Leon Darius Montallia Gender: Male Age: 24 Race: Human Alignment: Neutral Class: Sorceror 1 / Fighter 4 / Dragon Disciple 4 Diety: none Role: Tank Pros: Fights like there is no tomorrow, tactics, believes he is better than the Gods and adds a bit of dragon to the mix Cons: Very prideful, arrogent and will stop at nothing for certain legendary items Appearance: 6'2" 295 lbs blonde hair blue eyes Background: A bit of a battlemage type of character, but mainly fighter using some arcana to augment his fighting style. He is a big time merc searching for treasure (his favorite) and looking to find out about his past. Raised by nobles after some magical mishap during battle with his parents which no one seems to know about or will not speak of it. All he knows about his parents is that they were amazing warriors with some abilities that were unknown to others. They entered battle for many years as Leon was a child and they never came back. Some people seem scared to mention them and others talk about them as heros slaughtering many across the battlefield. Leon desires to find out more about his past and about his own abilities because he too feels as if he has some unknown abilities in his blood. His city does not have the ability to help him with his unknown abilities or questions about his parents, so he ventures out as a merc to find information. His parents left him with a simple medallion of a dragon standing on treasure holding a sword high into the air with his wings spread wide. The medallion seems to have no magical properties, but Leon is determined to find out what hidden magical properties it holds. Leon has an obsession with treasure in the form of finely crafted weapons and armor with magical properties. He too desires to craft armor and weapons in a way that eventually adventurors will be spending their lives in search of his legendary weapons. He enjoys crafting weapons for anyone in his party and prides himself in a good quality. He has the tendency to destroy any poor weapon or armor crafts. Leon has been starting to realize the dragon blood in him while he embraces these new abilities knowing when his transformation is complete there will be no stopping him. Leon has started to develop scales and has grown significantly stronger and heavier during his metamorphasis into perfection. Everyone has heard of the powerful and feared Darius! In some of his first battles he was noticed for decapitating goblins with a single swipe of his sword, punching his hand through two enemies, sticking a head to the wall with an arrow and punching a hob goblin in full plate armor killing him instantly. He was later known for assasinating a head general plauging a city with his existance, releasing a young white dragon that helped destroy a city and then killing that young white dragon along with an army of drow and undead. Darius has already produced some incredible weapons and armor using a rare unknown material and parts of the dragon he killed. There are pictures circulating painted of Darius raising his sword to the white dragon fighting him head on. Personality: Leon feels that he is superior to everyone, but knows that he has not reached his full potential yet. This makes him quite self centered, but he works in teams because he knows it is the wise course of action. Leon does not like to cause much trouble within the party because it would be a disadvantage to their progress. He fluctuates between devious underlying intentions and brave chivalry. Leon prefers to be called Darius which was the name of his father. Leon has excelled at combat and tactical movements during his brief time in the military. Darius prefers to be in a leadership role, but can be a follower if needed. Though he will always believe he would make the better leader. Some personality quarks with Leon consist of an obsession for any sort of well crafted item mostly if it has magical properties. He is fairly self centered, curious of magic, bad with children, he can be abrasive towards people, absent minded while trying to figure out a problem, he is passionate and relentless where he will not stop untill his body cannot continue. (If you allow character traits based off d20 srd then I would apply those positive and negative effects and if not then I would still maintain those traits for roleplaying.) Still working some fine tuning on my character sheet. Last edited by TheDarkTyphoon; 03-02-2011 at 12:07 PM. |

Name: Turan Willington
Gender: Male Age: 26 Race: Human Alignment: Lawful Neutral Class: Fighter 1 / Transmuter 2 / Human Paragon 3 / Spellsword 1 /Abjurant Champion 2 Role: (Melee, Arcane Caster) Pros: Turan’s multiple skills allow him to serve on the front line martially, while using his magical skills to enhance himself and those around him. At home in the barracks or the library of an arcane university, Turan knows that magic and melee can be combined into one art form for excellent proficiency. He is also fairly knowledgeable of many creature types. Cons: Concentrating on both spell and sword has left him unable to reach the peak of both fields. While he is an excellent swordsman and a learned caster, he is unable to match the magical skills of a pure caster, nor is his martial abilities as concrete as a focused fighter. Appearance: The hazel-eyed Turan stands at a modest 6’ tall with ruffled dark black hair adorning his head. His skin is moderately tan from his martial training, and he bears a barely noticeable scar under his left cheek. He wears a silver full plate armor made of the rare metal known as mithral, and takes time each week to polish and shine it. The armor’s helmet is detachable, and he does not wear it in public. He cares not for mundane rings or jewelry and only wears that which will help him in combat. Personality: While Turan understands the need for a good joke now and then, for the most part he is a very serious man. Taking on tasks given to him with utmost care and forethought, he does not have much appreciation for the slacker or prankster. His arcane studies have left him with a vocabulary somewhat above that of the normal populace and few can identify with his dual vocation. He gets along superbly with wizards, fighters, and for the most part clerics (who he sees as someone who blends magic and might). Background: They had argued about it before time and again, but now that their son was nearing adolescence, it was time to make a decision. The knight Sir Augustus Willington did not ever think about the ramifications of marrying a head strong wizard until she was 3 months pregnant with their first child. When the subject of the little one’s future came up, both parents argued that their path would be the right one. Augustus did not want a feeble bookworm for a child, while his wife Abigail did not want some sword-bearing hooligan going and getting into fights constantly. Not wanting to make Abigail upset in her condition, the two decided to discuss the matter later on down the road. A healthy son was born, Turan, and it did not take long for the parents to start bickering. It was decided the boy would train intensely with his father from his 12th to his 15th birthday, and would learn wizardry from his mother from his 15th-18th year. And so, the lad learned to use martial weapons of all kinds from his father. He had a custom suit of heavy armor which he used to practice in and as he grew the armor was expanded from time to time. On his 15th birthday he began rigorous studies of magic, and much to his father’s dismay, excelled in it just as much as he had with the blade. By the end of his tutelage, he could be found studying a spellbook in the morning, and slashing a target dummy with a sword by evening. Asked several times by his parents which path he would choose, he denied them an answer each time. He could not choose partly because of his desire to please both of his parents, but mostly because he was genuinely interested in both fields. Setting out on his own, the young man hired on with a mercenary band, determined to find his own path, a unique one which blended his parents’ talents. As he grew older, Turan did just that. Finding a way to meld spell and sword together, his feats as a mercenary grew in renown. His single-handed defeat of the bandit-king Ionine earned him much gold and fame as the raids on several small villages came to a halt with the bandits’ hierarchy disheveled. In every mission he answered and every foe he felled, Turan become more and more proficient with his skills and thusly yearns for more opportunities to test his mettle. As haunting dreams of a silver dragon plague his mind, Turan realizes that perhaps there is some great challenge to take his skills to the limit waiting for him just around the bend… Character Sheet Last edited by gbuster24; 02-28-2011 at 11:18 PM. |

Name: Searry Wilderkin
__________________Gender: Male Age: 20 Race: Human Alignment: True Neutral Class: Wu Jen Role: Magical support - mostly AoE blasting and elemental control but also a few utility effects. Pros: When it comes to magic, arcana and mystic phenomena, nobody takes it more seriously than Searry. He is well versed in magic and, thanks to his extensive training, is well-versed in all manner of natural and supernatural oddities. (Translation: higly magical, good blasting capacity. Knowledge through the roof - if it exists, there's a good chance he'll know something about it.) Cons: Though he is loath to admit it, Searry does have flaws. While his arcane training has left him with skills most could not hope to fathom, his physical stature is very poor. He is also limited in self-sufficiency, though he is able to make do with some small preparation time. (Translation: glass cannon in a big way - D4 hit dice and no melee skill. Also doesn't do well alone, though he can summon creatures and the like for personal defence should he need to.) Appearance: Searry cuts an interesting figure, to put it nicely. Put more bluntly, though, he's obviously a rambunctious youth gone to seed. His robe, though clean enough and well designed, has worn almost thin in some places and is in a fashion about eighty years too far replaced and obviously foreign, though the workmanship is fantastic. His brown hair is long, lank and hangs almost past his shoulderblades in a very messy ponytail. His eyes are slightly sunken and a perpetually red-rimmed gray, almost as if he's spent too long without sleep. Personality: Searry is arrogant, sometimes rude, oftentimes condescending and commonly self-assured in his abilities to those he doesn't know. That being said, he does recognize that he is not alone and tries very hard to form allegiances with whomever needs his help. To those he is actively trying to be nice to, Searry can fall into brooding introspection, but is always willing to throw his hat into the ring to aid his companions. Background: Born to humble stock in a port town, Searry gained a passport out of qa life of porting cargo to and from ships when he found his way into a particularly auspicious ship. The main occupant, a venerable elven Wu Jen from distant lands, caught him in the act of sneaking a peek at one of his bigger books. Rather than scold the child, the Wu Jen decided to take Searry on as a pupil of sorts, as he knew he had precious few years of mental acuity left and that it was a prime circumstance that dropped the willing boy into his lap. Searry journeyed with the elf for several years, learning all he could from him. Though young, Searry proved to be a sharp boy, knowledgable and determined enough to keep his master on his toes. Upon reaching sixteen, Searry was released from his apprenticeship to his master, who had reached the age where his memory had begun to fail. He made Searry a gift of a book of magic lore and a list of renowned arcanists who would be able to help Searry learn his art better. Searry, though, would never get the chance. His first act upon being released from his studies was to return home, where he discovered that a recent earthquake had punched a hole into a deep, dark catacomb of tunnels and caves. Most of the seaside had disappeared down this abyss, and Searry learned that his family had gone down with it. Searry teamed up with a group of adventurers and made an expedition down into the catacombs. What occured next even Searry will not say, save he returned from the caverns with several magical artifacts, a new and rather arrogant outlook and an old locket with a small painting of his family within. Searry now studies with other arcanists, his knowledge of arcane matters seemingly bolstered by his descent into the depths. The recent turmoil in the elemental balance has Searry worried, as Wu Jen have a tie to the elements few arcane casters can match. The dream merely spurred Searry into action that may have taken mere weeks for him to have taken himself. Argh... DnDOG is playing hooky with my sheet. I'll have it finished by this afternoon, but for now this should do. I hope. Last edited by kaiser6012; 03-03-2011 at 10:37 PM. |
