The Concern

This is the thread that will contain all relevant information on the Concern, your employer. This is considered to be an In-Character thread, so when you post here, role play your questions as your character. Your questions will be answered by the MUOI (pronounced Moo-ee), the Multi-Universal Operational Interface, a sentient supercomputer that serves as librarian and administrator for all of the Concern's field offices.

Ask a question, and the MUOI will do its best to answer.

Seven walked over to one of the terminals he'd been directed to when he asked for directions and stared blankly at the screen.
"He was messing with me, wasnt he?"



"Had to throw that 'yet' in there, didn't ya?"



"Yeah, yeah. I'm working on it. So...um...hello? Is anyone in there? Hi?"

"Hello. I am M.U.O.I., Multi-Universal Operation Interface. Profile loaded. Agent Jozin Karadon, Codename Seven. Department: Dimensional Corrections Field Agent. "

"Um, can you just call me Seven? None of the codename stuff?"

"Preference noted. What is your query?"

He stared blankly for a moment. "Uh..."



"Right, right. Where is the Ready Bay?"

"The Ready Bay is through the door to your left marked 'Ready Bay'."

"..."



"It's not that funny!"



"Bah. Well if it's right there we've got a little time. Let's do a little research on our new home. Pay attention Hel, I don't know how much of this is gonna stick."



Seven grunts, avoiding eye contact.
"Modee-"



Rolling his eyes Seven starts again.
"MOO-ee. Give me a quick tour of this compound and it's facilities. Forges, shops, libraries. Or whatever they'd be called around here."

"This compound is divided into three sections: the Ready Room, the Tactical Enhancement Scenario Tower and the Nocturnal Recuperation Facility. The Ready Room is where missions are staged and where breaches are opened to your destinations. The TEST is the multi-floor training facility where agents can hone their skills in a variety of virtual and real life training scenarios. The NRF is where you will be residing while in between missions unless you request and are granted leave. There are no forges or shops: the Concern has advanced beyond scarcity and thus beyond economy. Everything you need, within certain limits, can be requested and will be auto-assembled and delivered to the Ready Room. I am the library."
