With the large number of threads that the Arrow of Mercury Saga already has, and exponential number it surely will in future, i thought it might be prudent to have an index for when anyone might want to refer back to an earlier point without having to search through the mess of threads in the Archive section.

Meanwhile, Tyhn catched the eye of Pnyx at the Five Nexu and flirt a little. When she takes a trip to the refresher, Tyhn is harassed by two thugs from Pnyx's exchange-involved crew, and they try to scare him off. He stands his ground though, and the commotion draws the attention of Rennik and Lakissi who are passing by. When they get involved, one of the Thugs calls for help, over-exaggerating their situation and calling for a veritable assault team. Far removed from all of this, Shikari and Frija find eachother after years of seperation. Shikari has become a Jedi Knight now, but Frija failed the tests. Shikari offers to spend time with Frija, and show her a few things about what its like being a Jedi.

Jeroth earns the title of Darth Mantis' apprentice, simply because he alone among the students has had extensive training from the Jedi, and Darth Mantis does a terrible job of teaching his own students. He meets Lusica, a Sith student who is only very weakly force sensitive, and seems to be there against her will under mental and pheromonal manipulations so that the lecherous Sith master can "Appreciate" her physical beauty. Jeroth offers to help Lusica try to obtain a better grasp of the Force, she is wary at first but accepts his offer. When she and Jeroth begin the lesson, Jeroth discovers that although Lusica has trouble manipulating the real world using the force, she has remarkable powers of telepathy and can bring others into a bizarre dreamworld within her mind, where symbolism and ideas have power over logic and physical prowess. There they experience a bizarre and frightening vision.
Later, Jeroth meets Darth Mantis on the bridge, who tells him they will soon be doing battle with the Republic and the Jedi. The Sith lord wants to use the cargo of the Arrow of Mercury to extort the planet Yoru for ships, force sensitives, weapons, and a Holocron. 0.8 Name: Apologies
PCs involved: Mon, Frija, Sate
NPCs Involved: Pippy Larue
Blurb: Mon is feeling guilty over reminding Larue of old emotional scars, and consults with Frija to devise a plan for an irresistible apology. When he shows up at her door, Larue is surprised by Mon's gifts, and agrees to sit with him in the Forward observation deck so that they can get to know each-other. She is a little clammed up at first, but as they make small talk, the conversation edges onto the topic of her homeworld and her background with the captain. She tells the story of her survival of a global holocaust, the nuclear bombardment of her homeworld during the Mandalorian wars. Mon is stunned, and although he admits his life doesn't quite compare to that level of horror, he tells his own story of how he ended up joining the Republic Navy. He encourages Pippy to think more of herself, and to acknowledge herself as more than just a pawn of the republic. The Apology goes well.

When trying to flee into Hyperspace, a Hyperdrive Anomaly occurs and the ship finds itself stuck in a surreal dimension where the stars are black and the night sky is storm gray. An ominous white streak crosses a portion of the Sky, and the world below them is simultaneously different and the same. The Immediate priority is to repel the Sith who had boarded the ship on Shuttles, and to purge the radioactive buildup in the Hyperdrive cradle. Varskaav, a former foe, is willing to forget the fact that he had recently been their enemy and frees Lakissi, Rennik and Tyhn from the rooms they are being held in. Together, after a few untrusting moments of pointing guns at eachother, recover their equipment and turn to drive the Sith off the ship. They Meet up With Mon, Brienna, Shikari and Sate, and as one deadly force they fight off Commando team after Commando team and even Dark Jedi. Finally, they confront Darth Mantis in the Auxiliary Craft Hangar, and he attacks them with the support of an assault shuttle's heavy cannons. Thanks in part to Jeroth's Betrayal of the Sith lord, they defeat Darth Mantis. Jeroth and the Surviving Sith now have to learn to live with people who have no trust for them.
