Its definitely commas, I just have a tendency to put a space after all of my commas... it screws up the secret text. fixed now idilippy.

I'd like to point out that you two can see the secret text but I can not...so you are going to have to tell Father Finn more directly then "I explain what I know" if you want him to know anything.

Hmm, good question. Right now Jarek is in "tell people what to do" mode, hoping people hurry and just do what he says before something happens. He probably needs to be prodded into explaining, but Mercy might do it better. Still, he won't pass up an opportunity to lecture if given it.

Oh, and Jarek has had plenty of time to scribe the scroll, assumming he had components for it before hand(no source for them out here and gp can't magically turn into suitable inks)

Also note the secret text is not Mercy talking, its IC thoughts stemming from the knowledge check

Cool, I'd filled his pack with lots of paper, parchment, and ink, I imagine he'd have bought special inks too since he'd be worthless as a wizard without them. How is crafting alchemical items going to work for Jarek? He can't carry an alchemist's lab or afford one, will he have a chance to build one now that he's at the village, or craft with just beakers and some ingredients?

And yeah, the look Jarek gave her was supposed to be more of a knowing look from 2 people who jumped to the same conclusion after seeing something, not him listening to her tell him something. I probably didn't get that across very well but that's what I was going for.

I don't really have anything to add until we get a DM update. Father Finn is glad to let the others take charge right now and see to disposing of the smelly creature.

At this point Father Finn is just following along. I will try to get some kind of RP post up covering just that tomorrow if I can, but I don't think he's got much right now to contribute as far as moving the story forward.

Rereading... my post doesn't exactly give a lot to go on. But I love Mercy's idea. Anyone wanna agree??? Or say what spell they are going to use to try and duplicate the smell?
