I've started drafting up the thing for the second game, and based on my current schedual, I'll ideally have it up/set to start for the 4th or 6th (depends on how much I have to do those days.)

I'll be getting the rules/signups for the next round started ASAP; being in bed all day really helped give me time to consider things, if nothing else.

Game II: Alpha Werewolf Game II: Alpha Werewolf Starts: Monday, May 7th - 8:00 PM EST OR Wednesday, May 9th - 8:00 PM EST I won't be able to start on SAT/SUN/TUES, and I may be busy on MON, hence MON/WED. Phase: Day [After Confirmation Turn] Player Limits: Minimum 6, No Upper Limit Players: 9 Moderator Note I was going to include a story blurb here, but in order to get this up sooner I decided to refrain from doing it and will include it in the first post of the game. The Players   The Players As this is a little experimental (for me), I haven't included any here who pre-signed up (also in a rush to get this up, so didn't have time to check ). If you pre-signed up, repost your sign-up after you read this so I can make sure you still wish to join! RP will be like what we did for Mafia I (see first post for a link), non-RP will be more like a standard game (i.e. "He has a post count of 666, so he's clearly evil, I vote for X."). We'll go with the majority here, and I'll post which it'll be when the thread goes up. You may secret your vote to me, but I don't think it really matters. I figure, due to the nature of DNDOG, RP will be selected, but I figured I'd throw this out there. Rule Veto: If you disagree with one of the rules, or roles, please secret text what you disagree with and why to me. If enough people disagree with the inclusion of a role, a role's abilities, or a rule, then it will be changed (I'm thinking 3 people). The Roles   The Roles Alpha Werewolf: Each night, the alpha werewolf may select 1 person. This person can be either turned, or killed. A turned person becomes a werewolf on the following night. An alpha werewolf cannot turn more than 1 person (or 2 people, if we get up to 12 players). There will be 1 Alpha Werewolf. Werewolf: A werewolf is someone turned by the Alpha Werewolf. They cannot turn people, and have no say in who their Alpha kills. Their curse will be revealed to them on the night they turn, but they will not know who turned them (they will know if their alpha dies or not though). If the Alpha Werewolf dies, they are then in-charge of carrying out their alpha's last task: killing all the villagers, and thus may select who dies at night. There will be 0 werewolves at the beginning, and a maximum of 1-2 once the game has started. The Fortune Teller: Each night, the fortune teller may look into her crystal ball and reveal the true form of whoever they view. They will learn whether the person is HUMAN, or WEREWOLF. They will not learn the innocent's role. There will be 1 Fortune Teller. The Night's Watch: At night, the Night's Watch may protect one person (including themselves) from harm. They may not protect the same person twice in a row. There will be 1 Night's Watch. The Witch: The witch has perfected a potion that allows her to restore someone who was killed by a werewolf to life. They may not restore someone who was hanged. This ability must be used at night or else the witch's role will be revealed (as in, you can use it during the day, but you'll give yourself away). Someone restored in this way has no memory of how they died, but retains their role (if any). There will be 1 witch. Captain of the Guard: At the end of each day/start of each night, the Captain of the Guard may lock one person away. That night, that person is unable to use their role ability. If the Alpha Werewolf is locked up, his spawn (if any) will perform the kill that night. A Captain of the Guard has his men bring in who he selects so as not to reveal his role. There will be 1 Captain of the Guard. Townsfolk: A normal townsfolk with no special abilities, and who must sleep at night. Everyone who does not have a role will be a townsfolk. The Rules   The Rules 1] The game will begin in a day phase. 2] Day phases will last 72 hours (3 days). When players are reduced to 50% or less, day phases will be only 48 hours. 3] Night phases will last 24 hours if all actions are in by then, otherwise they will last 48 hours. 4] Once the game has started, you may not talk about the game with anyone outside the game thread except for the host. 5] No PMs, IMs, e-mails, secret text, and whatever else with anyone aside from the host (in the game thread or outside of it). 6] You may not quote, screenshot, or otherwise make available your, or anyone else's, role PM. You may claim to be 'x' role, but you must convince people without outside help. 7] If you are dead, you are dead. Please do not post in the game thread or communicate with any living player about the game for the duration of the game. A private thread will be made available once two or more people are dead so the dead may roll over in their graves/point and laugh at the living together. 8] A lynch requires at least 25% of the votes to be successful. A majorty of 75% of the votes on a single person will end the current phase at the next 24-hour mark (thus, if someone achieves 75% majority at hour 40, when it hits 48, if they retain that majority, they will be lynched and we move to night). In the event of a tie, not enough of a consensus can be reached on who to lynch and thus nobody will be lynched. 9] Roles will not be revealed upon death. 10] If there is no kill at night, the reason will not be revealed. 11] If you sign-up, you are expected to participate and be active. If someone does not post for two day phases, they will be autolynched at the end of the 2nd day phase. If someone misses a phase, they will be in-game poked. 12] Please make who you vote for bold, and red to make it clear to the host who you wish to kill. If you wish to remove a vote, use UNVOTE, to vote someone, VOTE: name. If you wish to change your vote please edit your previous posts and strike out your old votes before making your new one.

The witch only has one potion right?
Is it common knowledge that to the townsfolk that a werewolf can only effect 1 other individual, 2 if 12 players?
