I know how much of a pain shipping is - I have to struggle with the post office just to get them to deliver my regular shipments of premium iced tea to the same place when it says the same thing on the label every time. (Hint - there are three different permutations of the outcome, and the least likely one is that it arrives as desired). Ordering from overseas just doubles the problem.

Yeah I've got nothing on what Vanayess is implying, so I'm going to do the int check as well before I make a move.

Int check result of 7: If she were just selling you a basic wooden quarterstaff, she wouldn't be charging 5 silver when 2 copper is a more realistic price. (sorry, low rolls being what they are, I can't give you too much. It's a DC 10 check. )

Given that Therme has "bitten" and purchased the proffered item though, Velios not getting it may not be that big a deal.
