Infant Owner's Manual Section 3, Page 149
__________________When transitioning your baby from their bassinet to their crib, a parent can expect those sleepless, woebegone and hazy days of caring for a newborn to return, quite possibly with a vengeance. While some infants accept changes in stride, other infants (such as high needs i.e. those named "Grace") need time to adjust. Parents of such babies should expect a brief return to those hazy, sleepless, semi coherent nights when their bundle of joy first arrived home while their infant acquaints themselves (hopefully swiftly) with their new nighttime surroundings. Footnote: Yes, this even applies when the new crib is in the same exact space, next to the parents' bed, as the now outgrown bassinet. * * * While I may have vastly underestimated how hard raising an infant in a hotel-like room is going to be, I still retain hope for my sanity. And gaming. There are obviously going to be weeks where my only post opportunity is going to be weekends, such as this one. I had company all day today so I'll be posting tomorrow while hubby entertains the little, dear one. * * * You know, I was going to edit out that sentence repetition up there but you know... that's just my badge of proud, sleepless parenting, and also further testament why you don't want me posting on less than half full, lol. ^_~ Last edited by Cleokatrah; 05-27-2012 at 02:15 AM. |

Am crawling into a deep pit for a while - huge problems with hubby. May or may not come out the other side. Post quality/frequency may drop off.

We seem to have hit a turning point and things are getting better. It looked pretty bleak for a while but we're working on it. Thanks for all your well-wishes. It's going to be a long road but I think we can make it.

Well I think a scene change wouldn't be bad. Only so much discussion to go on in a cave lol

No trouble - I just need to know what you're going to do with Dia.

I'm fine with heading out. Maybe Gorax can have the chance to actually spend some of his GP.

We'll bring her with us, of course. I'm all for taking her back to the Tarkanan compound and bringing her before our Lady.

Yea, the whole 'double agent' thing sounds like the mother of all bad ideas. Naicyn summing that up nicely.

Not sure what to do with her. I'm playing Red as fairly trusting so he's for letting her in.. Somewhat..
__________________Not sure of the idea of leaving Sharn though. Thinks they should speak with Lady Tarkanan to determine the course. |

Good to know! Thanks for this OOC chatter, everyone. I'll speed things along to the next scene as soon as I get a chance to post - may not be until the weekend, unfortunately.
