In this moment, the earth elemental brought the hammer down - bang - upon his head. It still didn't break through his hard carapace, but the force of the blow jostled his brain and put too much stress on his joints - it hurt like the dickens. And Obiri was really angry about it. So angry, that he was once again seeing spirits - not that it would help that he wasn't quite himself anymore. So, Obiri looked at the spirits - the earth spirit was injured, weak, and under attack from Zipher. The water spirit was healthy, virile, and... looked delicious. "Caaaaaa" Obiri shouts, leaping at the creature, fully Obiri manifests hostile empathic transfer, augmented to 9PP. That means he's doing 70 damage to the elemental, Will DC 17 for half, and healing the same amount of damage. Power Resistance applies: Dice Roll:

Zipher's shadow noose slides over the golem's head, and tightens. But, to Zipher's surprise, it fails to do any damage to the creature, whose thick neck of stone seemed impervious to it, at the moment at least.
__________________The water golem fares less well against an enraged Obiri. Obiri's psychic assault tears into the elemental, seeming to reduce it to almost have it's former strength, as water flies everywhere. it does not, however, bring the creature to its knees, as Obiri hoped. Parts of it splatters against the wall, steaming off huge chunks, and with a burst of steam and hot ash, the ectoplasmic wall finally shatters. Hot ash bursts across the room, like a volcano, encompassing everything. The water golem seems to shrug it off, and if anything, the earth golem seems to gain some mass from the added material. Visible now is the form of the fire golem, almost burning with an intense, white light. Two white light lances of flame shoot through the mist, searing it aside with the brutal power of the heat. One strikes at Obiri, and the other at Zipher, like a red hot lance of fire. Zipher truly gets an impression of his own power as the flames strike him, the power alone pushing him off a step, and the heat sending waves of shimmering vision across his eyes. The earth golem slams his fist again at Obiri, and the water golem continues his attack as well. Although the original two golems seem shaken, and less powerful than before, they are still deadly combatants, it seems, and cannot be ignored. |

Zipher was diappointed by his attacks failure and would need time to prepare another. When obiri's attempt to devour the water elemental proved very effective, Zipher felt the battle was turning their way. In that moment, however, the swordsage was rocked by an explosion as fire and ash filled the air. It was an all too familiar feeling from his days training under master Lei Po pf the five blades who had taught Zipher his first Desert Wind maneuvers. Only these flames were not meant to help Zipher better understand the nature of fire; they were ment to burn him alive! Zipher did his best to dodge the approaching flames and realized that he and Obiri were now in a far less advantous situation. A thought slipped through the ash covered man's mind and he decided to try a risky tactic that would at least turn the fire elemental toward himself. He took his spear and dunked it into the gooey mess on the ground and approached the elemental to engage it in close combat.

Zipher is across the room, halfway, from the fire elemental, who stands five foot inside his 'part' of the room. He calculates that with moving around Obiri and the water elemental, and moving to the edge of the remaining heated wall of stone, he is fifteen feet away from being able to use his spear to strike through the opening of the wall at the golem. The movement will, however, put him adjacent to the water golem.

Obiri was fortunate that he was facing the water creature, for when the wall of ectoplasm exploded, the sparks and hot ash only struck his shell, not his face. Of course, feeling the heat, he turned to look, which caused him to put his foot in a puddle of mud, causing the huge Obiri to lose the stability of his footing for the moment.
__________________Now, unstable, covered in ash, Obiri found himself assaulted from every angle. The elemental spirit that was partway in his mouth (and was as delicious as it looked - hydrating, too) was beating him about the head and neck, the rock creature was trying to strike into his elbow, and the flaming one was blasting fire at his shell. And then, Obiri began to swell. Not only was he recovering from devouring the water creature's spirit, it seemed he was bloating? And perhaps, he was sprouting leaves? |

As everyone battled about the small room, reshaping their form or reforming their position, the maneuvers seemed to give pause to the creatures themselves. Or, maybe it was the destruction of the wall itself, or maybe something else. Regardless, Zipher moved across the room, and the two golems gave i cannot hit you with my current modifiers, even with AoO and so...half-hearted swipes to stop him, both failing to do any lasting harm or damage to him. However, Zipher's attack with his spear also fails to impress the fire elemental in golem form.
__________________The water golem and earth golem seem to waver slightly, their forms shifting and weaving away from Obiri, even as his form shifts. It seems as if the water golem is retreating, or at least, getting smaller, and the earth golem too seems to melt into the mass of mud on the floor. The fire golem, however, has but one thought, and that is to send two lances of fire straight at Zipher, driving the man back a step with the heat of their white hot force. |

The huge bush that was now Obiri seemed failed reflexnot to care about the slippery floor, sending out a network of roots to cover the muddy floor with a thick carpet of foliage.

Zipher's spear missed its mark and soon the sword sage found himself at the buisness end of not one, but two fire lances. Even with his protection against flames, the swordsage knew he could not withstand many more such attacks. Still he had to hold off the fire elemental as long as he could so that Obiri could defeat the other two elementals. It had become a game of survivial for Zipher and a battle of transformations for Obiri. Zipher grabbed another potion from his satchel and quickly drank the contents to reinvigorate himself for the next round of attacks. Last edited by Ziggy the Blue; 05-29-2012 at 07:33 PM. |

Zipher's fears that he may be playing a losing game come to the forefront of his thoughts, as he quaffs a potion to heal the damage that the fire elemental-golem did to him. Behind him, Obiri reaches out with long tendrils, and wraps them around the water golem, pulling it back towards the cavernous maw that is his green, barklike mouth. The creature resists, struggling mightily , and Obiri registers the thought that it seems as if he is not only pulling the water golem, but also, the very water and mud around his feet back towards himself.
__________________With a last, great effort, Obiri slams the golem into his mouth, and chomps hard on the coagulated mud and water that is the creature, and rips it in half. Water gushes over the floor, spraying around the room as Obiri shakes the thing like a broken rag doll. Luckily for Zipher, the water sprays everywhere, soaking his armor and clothing thoroughly. Undeterred, however, the earth creature presses forward, having seemingly been dragged towards Obiri as he dragged the water creature, and it pummels Obiri's plant form with large, bludgeoning fists. |

The water golem bursts within Obiri's massive maw, easily opening large enough to have swallowed the creature whole, if he had been interested in doing so before he tore it apart.
__________________The water, and the mud, it seemed, were doing great good for the now-plantlike psion. When he had become this creature, he had darker green leaves with a purple tint, but now he seemed to be a brighter shade of green. Even when the earth creature struck him, and came away with a fistful of shattered leaves and branches from his belly, Obiri didn't seem to mind - after all, a plant cannot normally live on water alone. So, Obiri opened up his massive maw once again, this time aiming to eat the creature made of stone and clay... |

Zipher had hoped his injested potion would have healed him more significantly, but alas only a few minor wounds closed. It was then that Zipher was struck by water from behind and feared for a moment that the water elemental had turned to attack him. The strange, raspy growl from behind him was one of victory as he heard the water golem gurggling in it's possiable death throws. Focusing on the matter at hand, satisfied that Obiri had acheived victory against one of his foes, Zipher ducked out of the way of one of the Fire Elemental's lances while deflecting the second with his spear. Zipher knew one technique that might work well against a fire based foe, but he would need to realign his KI to utalize it. Zipher focused on doing this but also payed close heed to his chosen foe.

With two swipes of long, green tentacles, and another snap of a gaping maw, Obiri destroys the other golem handily as well, sending dirt and rock scattering all over the floor, mixing with the water and muck. Obiri's beaked maw and dull, grinding teeth crush the smaller stones to dust, and he spits out the larger ones that once made up the golem. Both of them are no more, just puddles of goo mixed together on the floor, walls, and covering each of the combatants.

The dirt that now resided in Zipher's hair was clear enough sign that another Golem had been downed. It seemed thing were finally looking up, or so the swordsage hoped as two more fire lances flew toward him. One seared Zipher's cheek but the other did little more to the soaked man then dry up his armor. Still, he figured Obiri would need a bit more time to take on a new form, since a plant like form would probably do poorly againt the elemental of flame. Zipher took yet another potion and downed it's contents while prepareing for the next onslaught from the firey boned monstrosity.

Zipher finds himself proven wrong, when the huge plantlike Obiri steps up directly behind him, seemingly fully intent on devouring this golem too, despite it being brightly ablaze. His mouth was still full of fragments of the other golems - and his gullet too - but it didn't seem to bother him.

Long, woody vines reach out for the fire golem, and strike at it. With the first touch, Obiri realizes that this creature is made of almost pure, white hot fire. His second tentacle-vine shies away as the pain strikes back to the plan that is Obiri. Failing that, Obiri snaps at the creature ineffectively as well.
__________________Around you, it seems a breeze has come up. It is mild, at first, then a bit more wind blows across you, cooling the water that has doused both of you from Obiri's obliteration of the water made golem. Quickly, small droplets of water, clay and mud from the floor are whipped into a small frenzy around you, and begins to rise. You feel almost like you are at the center of a small, tiny hurricane, in the somewhat calm eye, while pieces of dirt zip past you a foot or two away, spinning rapidly. Mud slings off of the winds, splattering the walls with thick, wet *glops* you can hear, but not really see. The fire golem fires two more lances towards Obiri, the white hot fire searing through the small wind whipped wall of moisture, turning it into steam, which is instantly whipped around behind you. The lances strike Obiri, burning some of his leaves away. With the wind around you, it's a bit tougher to see than before, but not impossible. Things fly past, small blurs of motion. You also know there is still the remnants of Obiri's wall between you and the fire creature, through which he shoots lances, and Obiri extends his arms. |
