That's rough, man. I thought my rent increase (starting in July) was bad. Having to renegotiate a lease is nasty business.

So, after looking things over, even further cuts had to be made. While we were able to talk about renegotiating the lease, they are insistent on raising the rent to an amount we can't afford now. Not only will we be moving, but given a recent cut in financial income (as in, no job), other things are being phased out besides the internet, like my phone. So, now I am not only looking for a place to move into within the next 10 days, but I have no form of communication with people outside of time I get on the internet at the library. I'm sure that things happen for a reason, but I'm beginning to feel that the reason for this turn of events isn't as helpful as I would like, especially since it not only affects me, but my wife and three kids. So, that is the continuation of the bad news from my end... hope it helps each of you appreciate what you do have, because I've found that you can lose it all in the drop of a hat (for the second time in the last five years ).

So, finally things are on a rebound for me... hooray! I managed to discuss things and ended up getting a new contract signed on the place that my family is in now, so we won't have to move!!! Also, I managed to land a new job today and will start on Monday, so my financial issues will finally be starting to reverse themselves. Best part is I will have a schedule that allows me to go to school in the morning and work evenings. So once I get caught up on the necessities, I'll be able to get the internet back at home.

I am ever so thankful that I managed to see all this turn around before causing my family more strife. Here's hoping that I'll be able to keep up the good karma.

So, I think I need to place a slight update here, mostly because of the lack of being online for anything but homework as of late. I still have the job that I posted about previously and in having such, have actually bought a new vehicle that will fit the family better. I'm also actually working on getting a job at the local law enforcement agency and have been dealing with the process for the last two months, with at least one more to go. Not sure how well I'll fair, but so far I've been doing well!

As for my getting online, I'll be having the internet hooked up on September 21st, which is far too long away for me, but I'll survive for another four days I suppose. Not that the employees at the local coffee shop will miss me now that I've been here nearly everyday for the last month to deal with school work.

The wife is still pregnant, but it is only a matter of time till she has the baby. The due date is October 1st, however we are going to have it at least the week before due to a c-section. So still chatting with the surgeons to see what day they'll be available and either we'll have the kid on that day or before. I honestly predicted tomorrow night about a month ago, so guess I'll see if I was right in about 24-36 hours.

Anyway, I'll be making my presence a little more felt here in about a week or so, depending on when the baby arrives and whatnot. See you about soon!
