The Capitan thinks over Dacat’s suggestion, “We will also need a large amount of paint to disguise the colour of the hull.” He turns to Christobal, “For now get the crew on alert until we decide what exactly to do, I am pretty sure they are too far to do anything for now but we’d better not underestimate Kirkland he’s surprised us before.” Over by Manoronu, Emesto shrugs. Julio snorts and strolls back to Pietro. “I wonder what it is.” Matteo comments before walk over to the party at the stern. *** Master Engineer’s quarters: “That would be advised arkadashim,” Malik replies, “Now that you have the list, good luck finding those ingredients.” *** Crow’s Nest: “Si, he is an Alvioner,” the cazador replies, “He’s got a commission from the Navy to attack pirates and trade from Andlucia. He’s had it out for our Capitan since we raided a convoy under his protection.” |

Whoever this Kirkland was he seemed to have earned a fair amount of resentment from the crew. He must be skilled enough to get "Harlots" crew so jittery. It just might have been the fact that the crew was weary and recovering from a fight. Dacat was in no condition to fight a butterfly and he knew it.

Quarterdeck:
__________________The Capitan turns and gives Dacat a ‘haunted’ look, “Arthur Kirkland is a lion amongst privateers, they say he clears trade lanes,” he gestures widely across the boiling clouds surrounding the ship. “his voice drops to a dramatic whisper getting close to Dacat, “and that he destroy ports with fireballs from his eyes and lightning bolts from his ass.” He tips his head back and laughs and claps Dacat on the shoulder gently, “To put it simply, Kirkland is a man who is very skilled at what he does and he has a very large grudge against me.” “We sank a convoy under his protection 4 years ago,” Alfonso adds, “He took that personally.” “The 750 000 gold piece bounty on the Capitan also helps,” Christobal flatly states. *** Crow’s Nest: The cazador leans against the crow’s nest wall, “He’s brave I’ll give him that, makes up for his height I suppose,” he chuckles, “Last time he sent the Navy marines last time we faced him while saving you new lot, I’m actually glad he didn’t board in person, ask Salvatore. Kirkland can cross swords with the best.” He thinks for another second, “Seeing as we’ve probably travelled the distance between Andlucia and Albion several times with him constantly on our tail, he is a good seamen too but I’m no expert.” |

Dacat immediately felt conflicted about the situation. He was now in a position where he might have to fight one of his country men for doing his duty. He also signed the "Harlots" contract and swore to act on the ship and crews behalf. With luck he could get out of this without having to fight at all. Dacats present condition affected his mind set as well. If Kirkland proved to be a traitor to Albion Dacat would have no trouble facing off against him but nothing like that had been suggested.
__________________"Sounds like a fair bit of trouble Captain." To a certain degree Dacat was never really sure how to feel about Privateers. Some were just pirates endorsed by the government. Others took their job seriously. The first group should be hunted down like the pirates they were. The second group should join the Navy instead of sitting on the fence. Dacat was forced to admit a group of privateers might be less corruptible than his former crew. |

"And good luck is what I'll need." He replied, walking towards the front door leading out of the room after stuffing the list in his pocket, "I haven't really left the borders of Albion in my entire life. Sure I could get a map, but I don't know. I have a strong feeling I'll be really unconfortable. But regardless, It's needs to be done. So, I thank you alot for being more then willing to assist me sir."

The others slowly disperse as Raemos relays orders. *** Crow’s Nest: “Kirkland is far off for now,” the cazador sits back down, “Not much we can do but prepare.” *** Master Engineer’s Quarters: “One last piece of advice,” Malik says before returning to his work, “Do not walk the streets alone.” |
