That's not quite what I mean. There's a particular moderator that I've noticed who is rather rude and pretty mean with a lot of the people on the boards. I've noticed a lot of argumentive and flaming posts in his history. I decided to look at it after having him disrupt a game.
I thought the whole purpose of being a moderator was to "moderate" that kind of stuff on the board, not post it yourself. |

Oh well I suppose a course of action could be to send a polite PM to the individual and tell them you are a bit troubled by their behavior, and if you can't work out the problem that way you could ask another moderator to look into the game disruption.

I am officially saying that every mod on this site goes above and beyond the call of duty, and their nice, and uhm... the girl ones are pretty and.... .uhm...
Heres some chocolates for all moderators.

I'll look into speaking with another moderator, as the issue has been discussed more than once. Thank you.

Really, I would take the first advice you got. The moderators on this site are very kind and many are working hard for us. Move on and forget about it. Time will heal all. If not roll a DC 15 Heal Check to stabilize yourself. -LoL |

If you can't try to work out it privately in PMs, take it up with an admin. However, I will point something out--mods will use their Voice of Mod to differentiate from being the mod-as-a-player/DM/general board member. If you can't come to a consensus, understanding, or still don't feel comfortable, do take it up with an admin.
The admins and mods, though, are kick ass. Without them, there'd be anarchy or lots of rulebreaking...or something. |

I looked into it; it turns out the person was neither a mod or admin, so don't you worry! It was a misconception brought about in an OOC thread. The offender is, nonetheless, very rude.

Ah, I tried to ignore him and it told me he was a mod or a DM, so I wasn't allowed

How odd... Perhaps If you're a DM in any game, the board makes you unignorable anywhere. I know nothing about coding, but I have a feeling that could happen.

If there is someone who is bothering you, do not discuss it in public threads. Use the PM system or anything that is more private (messanger, e-mail etc.). If you find someone who is breaking the rules of the site, the Admins and the Mods will be happy if you send them a PM about it because there is always a chance they missed something. However if the problem is strictly personal and is based on for example disagreement, please don't contact them. Admins and Mods aren't judges or babysitters and will not solve you personal issues. Everybody has to do it by himself. Do it only when such person for example abuses you or is spamming your mailbox with random rude PMs.
