Sorry for my long absence. I've been in Las Vegas at a game convention and have had less time for posting of late. I should be back to normal now.

Neoncon. In all honesty, it's a great small to mid-sized regional con. On top of that, I love Vegas. It's worth checking out.

Sounds awesome.

Sorry about the short disappearance again. I had to have my wisdom teeth removed, and I've just gotten off the meds for the first time in a while.

You've had absolutely no luck, Blesper. Next time you're absent for a while, it better be for a gaming con or something else fun.

I hope so to. The last three months have been nothing but trouble. Normally my life isn't this eventful.

Alright. So as I recall we had a choice between going to the town or following the wagon tracks. I know there was some talk (or maybe I was just inferring this) that when there were going to be two groups, one would go in each direction. But now we decide what to do first? It sounds like Golk wants to follow the wagon tracks, Magog probably agrees with that, for his own reasons.

A few things
1.) Are we agreed on following the wagon path?
2.) I would like to add a couple house rules that I read about in Dragon magazine.
2a.) you can spend an action point to re-roll an attack.
2b.) Background benefits
3.) I'm not sure, but I think we're down to only four people. Do you want keep going with this or should we recruit and introduce a new player later?

Golk hasn't spotted his mother, so he thinks they've taken her on the wagon. I'm good to go forward with 4 people, and recruit later.

As I said, Magog'll follow along with the wagon path. Magog thinks it seems a tad bit safer than going straight into the town, and he doesn't want to rock the boat.

As far as the house rules go, the first one just adds the option of using an action point for a second chance at an encounter or daily power if the dice didn't quite make it? That sounds fine to me.
What's the second one do?

So right now we have a leader, a striker/leader, a fighter and...who's the fourth? We can probably make it with four, and it might speed up the fighting.

Lunar freedom, although I will probably have to nag at him to start posting more often, I would like to get the posts back up to at least 5-6 times a week.

Background benefits. If your character was a known thief as part of their background story you can either add thievery to list of class skills or get a + 2 to your thievery checks. A priest would probably get religion. If you have the forgotten realms player's guide it explains it in more detail.

Does the wagon trail go up to the "village"?

It trails off to the northeast, about 2 hours.
