Overhearing the barkeep's conversation with the customer nearby, Korinne is mildly impressed. She wouldn't have expected such a wide selection of drinks from a tavern on an isolated little island.
"Caverns and a church, you say? Well, I'll have to go check them out then, to see if there's anything I can do to help anyone then." She continues to drink her ale slowly though, wanting to enjoy a little rest before getting back on her feet again. |

The scarred youth simply continues eating, although with the mention of someone heading towards the church, he does eat a tad quicker...

"And what is there to do for fun around here." Ari'gaz has a feeling she isn't going to be thrilled with the answer.

Ari'gaz the bar tender pours you a shot of Pulgue and hands it to you. As soon as you drink it you can tell that it is a poor quality liqour and has an odd taste of cactus. Im not very knowledgable about such things, but I do know that due to the mountains that surround the western half of the Island that you can only gain access via the lagoon, so it would be difficult for anyone to sneak up on the island. We also have the militia, they may not look like much but Kenoras keeps them in good shape and trains them constantly. As for fun there is almost always something going on, with all the different groups of people and the various religions there are lots of festivals and parties happening.
__________________Korinne, Well im sure they may have something for you to do, but you should know it is an odd type of church, truefully its not really a church in a true sense. Mostly its just a building with multiple shrines to various dieties, so that people have the chance to pray to the god of there choice. Of course it doesnt have a shrine for all the gods, but there is atleast one for each race. Patience the gnome lady looks at you. Postcards?? sorry im not familiar with those, we dont have any local paper here, mostly if you are looking for news there is a bulletin board at the tavern were we post important news as we get it from those that travel to the main land. We do have some sweets, she points to a large bucket of hard candy, Its a cooper for 5 pieces |

“Ugh,” says Ari as she drinks the pulgue, “this is horrible. What in the nine hells do you make this from, used bathwater? Give me some of the white oak whiskey… and some water.” At least it sounds like are were lots of parties and festivals. It makes sense when you put this many different kinds of people together in one place. Thinking of the festivals, though, does little to help her mood. She adjusts her sword belt and says, “how about some food, too. Whatever’s good.” She looks around the bar again, “please.”

The bartender looks to you, It is a aquired taste, its from the desert region in Namonar. Its made using cactus. The bartenders pulls out a bottle and pours you a shot of the White Oak Whiskey. Hope you like fish, its the biggest dish around here. Taking the shot of the White Oak Whiskey you find that it has a very smooth texture and taste to it, after finishing the shot you find yourself feeling rather happy and warm.

She purchases a backpack, 5 days worth of rations, 8 cp worth of candies, and a journal with a pen (not sure what you'd charge). "Thank you, hun," she mentions while leaving, "I'll be checking the news at the tavern."

The whiskey felt good going down and it began to have the desired effect. Some of Ari’gaz’s apprehension and disappointment leave her. It would be easy to just drink until everything was dulled. This is a new town, though, and Ari didn’t know what to expect. It’ll be better to keep her wits about her, at least mostly. “How about wine,” she asks as her food arrives. Nothing like mixing.
__________________She will drink the wine more slowly. She is a seasoned drinker and will try to stay sober or, at least, just a slight buzz. Of course these are unfamiliar alcohols. |

Patience moving to the tavern you see that there is a good number of people there, including a group of half-tone deaf entertainers. You see most of the people that were on the boat with you. Having ordered your drink you move to what appears to be the bulletin were several items have been posted. Looking around the board you notice a couple of reports regarding the Cult, one of which includes a picture of there insignia, another gives warning of a recent bounty of 100 gold on all half-breeds, it goes on to warn you to becarefull of any non half-breed you trust. There is also a notice mentioning that a man named Kenoras the village leader is looking for a group of people to investigate the cult.

"Hmm... I'll be having all 3, I suppose. Sampler size if you will. Kind of just getting my traveller legs, so I'm trying to learn as much as I can, as quick as possible." She lets loose a gruff giggle. "So tell me. Why is there so much hostilities toward halfbreeds? A horrid derogative by the way. I prefer mixed-heritage."

hearing the half-orc's question, gives a little scoff and answers, Its because people who are naive fear what is different from them and those corrupted few who would gain power through whatever vile means necessary use that fear as a net to gather followers still eating, he adds then that fear and anger spreads like a contagious disease, the victims of which rarely even realize they've sickened

Looking over to the half orc, Ok a small glass of each. The bartender pours three seperate glasses of while and sets them on the table for you. I dont think anyone knows why the cult has such hatered, perhaps there leader was rejected by one when he or she was younger and they never got over it.
__________________Turning back to the Tiefling, So which one would you care for? Sacars as you sit there in the corner you find you have a reather good view of the entire room. Near were you are there are some patrons playing darts as well as some form of game with dice. You can a few talking about finding the cults main fortress and killing the leader, you also hear a brief discussion about how it is getting harder to get supplies out of Port Haven because of the cult. |

"Thank you kindly. How much do I owe?"
__________________Sampling first the elven wine, she finds is subtleness a tad dainty for her tastes compared to the grogg she was raised on, but does appreciate its immediate intoxicating affect. "Whoa. That has its charm, dunnit?" Turning to the scarred youth that quickly addressed her questions. "Sounds like you've given this a lot of thought indeed. But I agree. Ignorance does seem to breed contempt. Thats why we Bonebenders go out of our way to help out and make our name known." She lets the name linger heavy in the air awaiting to see if there is recognition. |
