I am still here I just have been very busy in the last 36 hours. Once out of being stunned do I still need to roll against being slowed?

If you were busy, you should have said so. It seemed like everyone was bored and left, so I decided to spice things up a bit by killing you all. To keep it interesting. Jarkan wasn't hit by the dragon breath, so he never got slowed or weakened. You'll be able to take a turn after I take one for the dragon soon.

Villian Menace provides bonus to atk and dmg. If I use it first does it work with my Dragon Breath?

The benefits of Villain's Menace affect all of your attacks for the whole encounter, including your Dragon Breath, yes.
__________________If you get curious enough to check the DMG after the fight, you may notice that this dragon's name is altered somewhat from the official version (though only by a few letters.) This is to make it more similar to the name of my worst professor, an inside joke among the friends I originally ran this adventure for. ![]() I'm having a little trouble uploading the map but should have the turn up soon, sorry for the delay. |

It's been more than 24 hours since the last post and Thoradin has yet to move. Should I give him more time, or take his turn for him and move the game along?

He posted he'd be out of town or something, but he never got back to us on whether he wanted us to wait or have some one take his turn while he is away.

I figure all he's likely to want to do on this turn is stand up, heal himself, and possibly rejoin the party to surround the dragon... so I might do that for him this round since he doesn't have many difficult decisions to make. I see that he said his laptop is not very good so he might not want us to wait.

Yeah good point not much else he can really do. Also I don't think he'll mind if you take his turn either. So I say go for it.

Sorry to have killed you, heh. Should I take his turn to heal you back to consciousness again, or maybe Kshnik would want to do that?
What I'd do in this case is move Thoradin back to where he started, try a Healing Strike (with the flank canceling out the fear), and then cast Healing Word if it misses. |

Wow, yeah that was a pretty heavy attack, would've knocked Erik out at full hp lol. I think I'll wait on his turn(death saving throw) until Thoradin moves. If you or Kshnik want to take it go for it, or we can wait up to you.

Ok healing Surge + 3 additional hitpoints on Erik.
If I miss with an encounter power I lose the power for this encounter correct? Rolled a one on the attack...

Yes of course. A few Daily powers that don't do anything on a miss have the "Reliable" keyword. If you miss every target of those powers, then you don't expend the power. Of course that is only if the power has the "Reliable" keyword. Brute Strike is an example: it is a Daily power that doesn't do anything on a miss. Encounter powers, if you miss with them tough luck to you. That's why some Leader powers that have effects that happen whether or not you hit are unusually powerful. Healing Strike is not one of those: it only heals if you hit.
You know pretty much everything there is to know about white dragons. I will post it in detail in the game thread but here's a mechanical summary of Szhacharrax's abilities and a brief summary of his attitude: A white dragon's breath attack deals 3d6+4 cold damage in a 5x5 blast (since this is a blast, if you're surrounding him he can't hit all of you, but he might risk provoking OAs to get into a position where he can.) On a hit it slows and weakens as you've discovered. The dragon's breath weapon recharges. Expect him to recharge it about once every three rounds. Additionally, the instant that you bloody him he'll recharge his breath weapon and use it immediately as a free action. When his breath weapon isn't charged, Szhacharrax will use Dragon's Fury as an at-will power to attack with both of his claws. Each does 1d8+4 damage, about what a good fighter can do with his sword. If he hits the same target with both claws, he can also bite: his bite does the same damage but also does 1d6 additional cold damage. Claws and bites count as basic attacks for him, but if he makes an OA with his bite it does 2d6 cold damage instead of 1d6, so you really do not want to get hit by that opportunity attack! All the young dragon's melee attacks are +6 vs. AC (average for your level) and have a reach of 2 due to his size. Szhacharrax started with 2 action points and has already used up both of them. His Frightful Presence is an encounter power so he won't use it again in this fight: you've already gotten over your initial fear. Like other Solo monsters he gets +5 to all saving throws. To make him a more reasonable challenge for a 4-PC party, I've given him "only" 160 HP so he's most of the way to being bloodied. The young white dragon can fly or walk at a speed of 6, and he has the Ice Walk ability so he ignores the difficult terrain of the frozen lake. He has darkvision and is fairly perceptive. White dragons like to attack from hiding - he was hidden deep in the cave resting on his hoard when he saw your torch. They are arrogant as you have noticed, and will never give up. He'll fight until slain, even if he thinks he's losing, but could be bribed into sparing you with gifts of shiny gems like pearls or diamonds. He'll respond even more favorably to gifts that include meat. As dragons go, Whites are the weakest kind and more savage and bestial than the others. Szhacharrax is young and cocky, and not prone to long plans: he only cares about his next meal and building up his horde. Most white dragons of his age haven't learned Common, but I thought it would be better if he were educated enough to taunt the whole party, rather than only the half that speaks Draconic.
