The guards nod to each other as they quietly take Muri's gold and let the goblins into the town.
As you pass though the entrance you enter a square where a number of merchants have set up various tents and carts where they are trying to peddle their merchandise. You also notice that there are more armed men walking around than you would expect. |

Muri wanders amongst the merchant stall. Her eyes dart to and fro, and she strongly considers stealing something, if only to compensate herself for the bride she had been forced to pay the gate guard. No, that can wait-- at least until we are on our way out of town anyway.
Admonishing Golk to wait for her at the corner of the market-- I'll be back soon, very soon-- Muri attempts to make herself small and unassuming, that she might better overhear some snippet of conversation about the increased guard activity. Last edited by copatt; 12-10-2010 at 11:26 PM. |

Orcs, huh? But what does that have to do with the attack on our village-- if anything? Muri wanders the market stalls, looking for a particularly talkative-appearing merchant, a symbol of House Tarkanen, anyone or anything useful.

Muri quickly singles out three people. A soldier who wears nicer armor than the rest of the group, A merchant who's wares come from many places instead of just this region, and a half-orc debating something with a large group of people near a table by one of the food stands.

Muri is certain which of the three people she wishes to speak with first, though she does not want to do so alone. She glances over each shoulder, ultimately locating Golk near where she left him. Retrieving her tribemate, Muri approaches the half-orc. Initially, she says nothing, choosing instead to listen in on the debate.

The half-orc slams his mug on the table. YOU IDIOT! What they hell are they even going to find over there?! With the increase in attacks what we need is more soldiers over he... He stops when he notices Muri and Ruce. Are these your worms Ainsland?"

Magog
__________________Magog is not one to let large trees fall on him, so before even figuring out exactly where the tree is or what might be felling it, he rushes back to camp. I knew I shouldn't have gone even that far by myself, he mutters. He quickly looks around to see if there is any obvious creatures and to try to figure out what was going on with the tree, though having rushed away, he isn't sure he'll have much luck. He also tries to figure out if the scorch marks tell him anything about the creature stalking them. |

Zekö appears suddenly at camp his back facing where the tree had fallen. He is holding berries and bloody headless rabbits in one hand, and the other hand is full of fire wood that looked like it had recently been broken with heavy traumatic force. He walks to the center of camp puts the berries and dead rabbits on a animal pelt. He then begins to make a fire with the fire wood. as the fire starts going he turns to Magog and says I will prepare these for travel. He then begins to skin the rabbits and smoke the meat.

Muri wants to stand defiant against the half-orc´s verbal onslaught. I resent being called anyone´s worm, especially Ainsland´s.
Unfortunately (or fortunately), she is betrayed by her goblin instinct to grovel. But I can be-- for a price. |

Golk visibly winces when Muri is struck, but continues his grinning face while facing the half-orc. His eyes keep darting back and forth between Muri and the brute. He begins to sweat profusely and breathing very heavily. His face begins to turn a darker green.
