Looks like I'll only run The Playground when Manga is away or when the mainline campaign is slowing down. Last edited by horusmaster9; 08-27-2010 at 09:36 PM. |

Neo, two geese fly over to you.
72, a goblin, intrigued by your offer, jabbers away to one of the orcs about you. Both look back and forth between you and each other, silent only when they're gazing at you. After some time, another orc comes by and joins the conversation. Eventually, the goblin and two orcs escort you to a tent larger than all of the others by far. Once inside, you meet a particularly massive orc. The goblin explains the situation to the orc in their own tongue. "What brings your here?" the giant orc bellows, slow in his pronunciation. He is obviously not very fluent in Common. |

Neo, you get a cat.
72, the orc replies in giant. However, that is not his native language either, but his fluency is notably improved. If you want to know what it is, roll for Insight. Or whatever else you can apply. Be creative. ;D "That is good! What can you tell?" Last edited by horusmaster9; 08-27-2010 at 10:12 PM. |

I only know 2 languages (Common and Giant) so that would be pointless.
First, they have given up stopping you the left a small force of maybe 50 to slow your advances. Second, they concentrate all of their power on guarding their front leaving the rear open. Most of the Population is traveling toward their king to seek help, so expect re-enforcements soon. They think very lowly of your tactical abilities, and expect nothing more than a frontal assault. They have not more than 15 balistea in operation. Also the front entrance bridge is destroyed so, frontal assaults are even more pointless. There is a band of hired mercenaries among them but do not fear, they are quite incompetent and pose little threat against your warriors. |

Neo, one action per turn. :|
72, the capital is miles away. Plahakti is a disputed region. Which also makes it a fringe/border region. But whatever. :P "Enhancement? Ha!" the orc replied, slamming his fists on a table. "Their chief city is long away. Therefore, because we have the time before inform high king, I first take Plahakti. I knew that they are weak and are minority. We only deliver us the weak person to their weak person fight. But we have many weak people, therefore we are not sad. If they still have the resistance, we how will take Plahakti, although?" |

OOC That last sentence is just plain confusing.
Neo, as far as you guys know I went to assisinate the orc, I told you guys that, so stop using OOC knowledge. "I did not mean immediate re-enforcements, I was simple explaining where and why, people are fleeing. As for How to take the city I recommend, trying to send a group around to their rear, this will cause panic among them, and allow for easier frontal assault. Also the man who leads them would never surrender, but should you take him out I am sure the rest would give up readily." Last edited by seventy two; 08-27-2010 at 10:45 PM. |

How dangerous are the orcs? Since we killed several as a standard action? I'm tempted to follow 72 and destroy the enemy camp >_>
