Also, your chickens are trampled by the orcish and goblinish army. You cry in remorse. Roll Athletics 3 times again. 15 DC. +2 thanks to sammich power. Another +2 thanks to your remorse from losing your chicken compelling you to run. "Nay. I'll need to get out of here as soon as-" "No. We all must stay to protect the populace!" Dium said, interrupting Sir Kalukt. "You must be mad! There is no way all of us can survive! Just look: the town guard is almost completely defeated!" "I'll defend them with my life," Dium said, storming out of the room. You see him at the gates of the castle in a few minutes. A line of crossbowmen line the towers. Lieon and Aqua, you can either go help with the balistae or keep suggestions coming. Also, I suppose that magical campfire would be weightless.

Well I'll be off to provide support with those ballistae. Try not to freak out too much, aye councilman?

Manga, you succeed and make it to the castle. Dium lowers the drawbridge for you, and picks it back up right after you enter the castle. The Orghlick Alliance's army comes closer. You can make friends with chickens, if you want. There are some in the castle, since it's essentially a refugee camp now. Or you can help Lieon kill some mooks and avenge your fallen chickens.
Lieon, balistae result in autokills. Roll a d20 to see how many you kill at a time. :3 Un, feel free to man a balista and kill some mooks. :3

Actually I topped up my internet. Somehow. Technically, I could keep the other one open now.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that the town guard can hold the town for another turn. It will take a turn to reach the castle, and depending on my rolls, it you might be able to wipe out the first wave. Keyword being might.

/ooc I'm not sure this is how nature is used but...
I use nature to try and make trees grow in a line in front of the town. If successful, I use Denver's Fire and make a campfire on a branch on one the trees, catching the whole line on fire. Dice Nature:

The town guard has been completely destroyed, and you can hear Sir Kalukt crying in his conference room. There is one turn until the Orglick Alliance army reaches the castle.
Manga now has 4 chickens. And 2 sammiches. Aqua, nature doesn't let you grow trees. But just so you don't waste an action, you kill 15 people in the Orglick Alliance's army with a balista you managed to mount with cows. Somehow. Lieon, you kill 19 orcs/goblins. Take your pick. "Crossbowmen, LAY WASTE!!" Dium shouts, pointing his short sword at the advancing army. Dice Roll:
