All, I have new characters coming in and I think we are about to turn the corner. We may have a big fight coming too, depending on what happens

hmm, hopefully I make it back in time. The supplies I am attempting to procure are primarily for our defenses.

LOL! That is hilarious. I didn't even consider that that might happen. This could turn out for the better though. Hmm.

Ok, I was nicely told by Neon725 about where to find what my starting gold should be. But considering it, I wouldn't have as much as planned. Is there a set limit to how much I should be bringing with me, since we are traveling, i picture our characters taking there time before hand to stock up. I will like my character sheet as it is so far to show what I have. Gunth Ironarm

Personally, I'd prefer if you clarified Artisan's tools, and the barrel of oil. Is it canola oil, or is it meant for lamps? I'd also like to know if Artisan's tools meant something for fine arts such as painting, writing, or whatever you prefer.
__________________As for the loadout, I think we can definitely work something out. Everything looks like a standard loadout for a smith, except for the food and the cart. For the food, we're in a bit of a shortage, and it seems like cheating to have a new guy suddenly show up with some extra bits. I recommend you limit this to trail rations for the sake of keeping the character alive on the journey, while still allowing this internal problem to be solved as it should have been. As for the cart, I'm wondering what your plans are for once you are in the mines? A mule and cart combination isn't very useful underground. How about we say that the mule is a rental in order to transport your equipment, and that it must be sent away with the cart afterwords? |

Ok, all of those points are very good points that I need to address. And I will do it here first. I will specify that they are Artisan's Smithing tools(So i can even take out the hammer as it would be involved in that). The oil if for lamps, and the barrel isn't full. I will take off the food, and just have the rations for, let's say, two weeks worth, from arrival. And the cart and mule are rentals, so I will RP a NPC joining me on my trip that will leave right away after I arrive. I actually thought of the mule being used for a smith. (If you have watched the first Pirates of the Carribeans, he had a mule turning a wheel, could be used for fire for smelting, or heating. So maybe it would be ok if its not a rental. But I will leave that to you guys.)

Nah, the NPC is fine with me, and it can even be used as part of the intro post. As for the mule, we already have a waterwheel, so no worries.

Actually, if its okay, since Hoimli happens to have left the village, I will try and tie him into it too, just saying that I passed him on my trip out here.

I think that's a question you would have to ask him directly, but it sounds good.

that works actually. It would explain were the cart came from

Okay, me and 42and19 and made an agreement for how I will arrive. And there will be no need for rental cart/mule
