Game Thread It begins...

New chapter/part of the game. Therefore, a new thread.

Akilu sees a short little fellow dart past him. The thing is fast, but easy to follow. He leads Akilu directly to the other members of the group. At least all but Tae, that is.

The little fellow is a halfling, and panting for breath, he takes a moment. Your highness... something very strange is happening.... King Charles is mobilizing forces! The dwarf king looks in astonishment at what this little fellow says. This cannot be good. Get ready for what could be war. Evacuate the women and children to the tunnels. The king starts pacing back and forth, muttering under his breath, Why? Why now?

Oh hey Zeph. Akilu holds up his hand in greeting but turns to the king afterwards with a stern look on his face. I am Akilu leader of the Darfellan race chosen of the Whale Mother in all her glory if I may be of assisstance please don't hesitate to ask. On the up side war is one of my favorite games.

Taevison quickly gets tired of waiting. He puts the container away and pushes the dwarf's body away from the crack and dumps the flask on him. I got what I needed from you. He says lowering his torch to the dwarf. Shall we. Taevison says jokingly to himself After you I insist. Taevison laughs as he starts trying to break open the crack with his dagger

The wall around the crack is relatively weak, and you find yourself getting right through it, almost as if it weren't even rock. Inside the cavern is dark, but the immediate area is lit well due to your torch. You see no Ns Fer, but the cave goes farther than first thought and you find yourself in a large hollow point in the mountain. The light from your torch bounces off of mirror like crystals and the area seems to light up. A large pool of blood runs around a central "island" in the center of the room.

I could easily outrun one of those creatures if anything goes wrong I will run to the others. For now let's take a look around Taevison looks around the room for one of the Ns Fer. Taevison puts his dagger away and pulls out the container as he looks around the room. I have a nice snack here Taevison laughs as he knows that the creatures will not understand.

The room is dead quiet, the sound of your breath being the only noise. The air is cold and a chill is about. Suddenly a small red blotch falls from to feet. It is no bigger than a mouse.

Tae squats down in front of it. This is what you want isn't it Tae opens the container to let the creature have his snack I mean you no harm. Why am I talking to this thing like it can understand me? Tae remains calm with smile on his face showing the creature that he is friendly.

The thing heads into the container and quickly dissolves the dwarf hand.

OOC:Roll Reflex. Also, the other part of the story depends on Risens response, though since he hasn't been on I will probably have to NPC him.

The little creature eats the hand and then exits the container before you can find the stopper. It then begins to slink towards you.

Taevison looks down at the creature You want more don't you? Taevison again attempts to get the creature in the container

You manage to slide the creature into the container. With this done you notice that the pool of "blood" begins to stir. Suddenly it springs up, revealing a huge Ns Fer. From the ceiling others start falling and being absorbed into the larger one.

OOCRoll intelligence. Only once, no action point option for the roll.

Taevison backs away from the large creature. What are you? What is happening? Taevison quickly starts making a new plan Perhaps the poison could help

As you feel the awesome presence of the Ns Fer, you notice that the jar is pulling slightly towards the beast. Just then it hit you, there is only one Ns Fer! The others are merely pieces of the beast. The creature moves with haste to your position, eating away at anything it come in contact with.
