What about just reminding a friend of a rarely used ability that would be helpful?

The IC will be more secrety, I think. If this is all the security for Scratch to get by, we'll be rich in no time!

Yes, you will be able to buy magic items later on, have no fear.

Splitting enchantment on a ranger/scout combo that has moved skirmish distance and is using Greater Manyshot.
At 20th level that is 8 arrows doing +5d6 each per round in addition to any enhancements/poisons you stick on them. Tack on Shot on the Run with Hide in Plain Sight and you're basically invisible every round except during your attack. Assume a +5 longbow that's a possible 8d8+40d6+40 (216 avg damage) before any flaming/frost or crits if all your arrow hit (By that point you should probably have at least +12 to your BAB so most of those should be hitting). Absolute destruction and from a better distance than the Enlarged/Raging/Frenzying/Leap Attacking Frenzied Berserker with the Giant-sized Greataxe. 4 attacks per round on a full attack, so you get 4 arrows from the use of Greater Manyshot. Splitting is a +3 enchantment that turns each arrow you fire into 2 identical arrows. Ranger/Scout with Swift Hunter can swing the full +5d6 from skirmish, and with Greater Manyshot precision based damage (ie Skirmish) is applied to each individual arrow. So you fire 4 arrows doing 1d8+5 each from your +5 longbow, they gain +5d6 from skirmish, and then they split into 2, giving you 8 arrows doing 1d8+5+5d6.
It's an example of the some of the nasty high-level optimization you can swing. Just ways to try and keep a ranger on par with a wizard/sorceror at that point. |

Flanking Rogue with 5 Levels of Fighter and TWF chain and Haste or Speed on his weapon: 1d6+1d4+str (5 Hits, assumed) +1d6+1d4+ 1/2 str (5, hits assumed) +70d6+ weapon enhancements.
Sure it hits less, but look at the total. It ends up being somwhere around 80d6+10d4+str and a half. Or he could take a one level dip into Shadow dancer for hide in plain sight, and do what the ranger/skirmisher did, except with sneak attack, too. But he has to stay hidden to get the delicious damage. |

Again though...that requires you being in close range. Even with a spiked chain you're still limited to 10ft., any Large or bigger enemy is going to have a chance of hitting you. With the ranger/scout you can be 100ft. away and still laying out that kind of damage.

A 20th level druid can shapechange into a golden wyrm...your argument is invalid. Then the next round he can become a Solar as a free action and cast wish at will. And on the subject of the wish...shapechage last for 10min/lvl so at level 20 it lasts 200 min that's 12000s and 2000 rounds. He can cast shapechange 4 times per day so he has about 14hrs of wish making available per day. That gives him the ability to make 8000 wishes every day...and he still has ALL of his 0-8th level spells castable, in case choosing the new reality isn't enough for him. Oh and a sorc can do this 2 more times per day. At level 20 and above, non-spellcasters cant do anything.
