Once she was done she walked to Lilith, and passed a glance to Ren. For a brief second the smile faltered. Her eyes slightly glazed over as the memory jumped into her mind; the vivid sensation of her lips on Ren's. She recovered within half a second and handed the drink to Lilith, hiding her brief second of absent mindedness with a slight trip and then recovery. Even when she fell she posed. her body, all lines as if she was taking a posting for a drawing. "May I ask what you did before you go here?" she sat down beside Ren and pulled her legs close, while absently sipping from her cup. |

Lilith puts the small glass to her lips and sips the brew as delicate as she could. Trying to savor the flavors. It was a cocktail of burnt wood, a slight taste of iron, and a strong punch of alcohol she could feel as the fluid slipped its way down her throat. "Are you alright?" Lilith says to Sasha. Hesitation was not something that Lilith expected. She expected someone to emit a sense of confidence that dominated a room. A pervasive personality that influenced everyone with tendrils of her very being. To see such a thing, more than likely meant something was a miss.

Ren felt conscious in the shirt that left her shoulders bare as well as the tight skirt which made her constantly feel as though she wanted to pull it lower to hide the parts of her legs that showed beneath it. "Oh--hi," she replied as Lilith greeted her almost disjointedly, uncomfortable in this almost high-culture setting, this being her first party. "Oh--ummm, thanks," she replies to the comment about her dress, coloring at the compliment as she added belatedly, "Sasha found it for me," before quieting down and sipping at the water in her glass as a refuge from the conversation.
She was fine enough in one-on-one conversations; those felt easy and good, but she began to feel lost in a crowd when she didn't have a clearcut goal and was unused to this mingling. She continued sipping at her water half-heartedly, as though searching for an excuse not to talk as she sat on the couch next to Sasha, almost hoping to sink into it unnoticed and unbothered until the end of the party. |

"Peachy, just a slight stumble." she looked at her feet. "I am not used to walking with no shoes on you see," she said with a slight and embarrassed smile. She lifted her hand to her face, as her olive face was tinged with red. She looked so innocent in that one moment, clutching her drink while slightly leaning to her left. She seemed lost in a moment; "Haven't blushed since my earlier years," she whispered with a slight tinge of remorse and nostalgia. She moved to the couch afterward, and sat down on the opposite side of Ren
__________________Sasha looked at Lilith who was standing, and then Ren who was sitting. She scooted closer to Ren, delicately as possible, and then motioning for Lilith to sit down. "Please, sit, I was just about to make a mention to Ren before you came, that my husband has put a lot of work into the parade and the ball. It is the reason he cannot join us at this moment." She looked at Ren, and placed a hand on her knee, "Ren, speak up, you have a voice. And a good one at that," she spoke. Her tone was motherly and loving. |

In what would have been the better part of an hour later, Earenk'vrak arrived at the front door of the mansion, empowered to its gates by his own conveyance rather than the rickshaw. He'd been here before and had a knack for navigating cities and landscapes. His ocean-faring navigation skills likely left something to be desired, but that was thankfully not his task. He had changed into a
(Please ignore name and ears)set of robes, in a shade of violets and deeper indigos. The trim was golden, and it was marvelously fitted yet loose. Set across his back was a marvelous falchion of prime steel, filigreed with silver and etched with runic displays which bore stories the telling of which would lead many to blushing. At his side was a bandore, a musical instrument similar to a guitar but only vaguely. The strings seemed reinforced, as they would have to be given that the hands which lovingly caressed them bore claws which could in battle rend metal. Ever the sort to make an entrance, Earen did so. He allowed himself through the doors and walked the hallways, Dice Perform:

Ren nods wordlessly, glancing towards Earen as he makes his entrance heralded by the sounds of fairly average playing before looking back the others gathered. She searches her mind for words to say, but despairs as nothing comes to her before a question is recalled. "So.. ummm, we're heading out in a week? What's everyone's plans until then?" she asks lamely, hoping to pass the torch to someone else despite remembering at the last moment that they had been handed a schedule and cursed herself mentally for asking despite the fact that their actions had been for the most part decided.

Sasha looked at Ren, and smiled. "Well I will be flitting around making sure everything goes as planned. Sadly, we are short one member of the party so I will have to go hunting one down," The last half of the sentence seemed to be lower as she was thinking aloud.
__________________At the fairly average music, she looked at Eraen with a raised eyebrow. "What an interesting tune. I am unfamiliar with that particular jig, no doubt from one of the pirate islands," she added with a slightly haughty air. She stood up, and brought him a non alcoholic drink. "Do you care for something a bit more strong?" |

"Well, I challenge any clawed being to play better..." Earen says with disappointment. It was not his instrumentation that he was known for, though he did a passable job at it. His voice was his greater asset, his dulcet tones and stirring words enough to change the tide of battle and the movements of the very eddies of reality.
The instrument found its way back to his side as he took the drink. "I accept the hospitality of the house in whatever it offers." |

Lilith sits down next to Sasha, drink in hand, "It wasn't that it was bad my dear," she coos,"But that it was not that great either. Now I will be the first one to admit when I dance a jig it looks as awkward as a dire badger playing the lute." She crosses her legs and takes another sip of her drink, "I recommend this whiskey, it has an," She takes the last sip finishing the drink off, her face cringes as the liquid goes down her throat, "Interesting taste."

"As I said, I shall have whatever the house offers, and so long as I do so in the company of you lovely ladies I should find it an enjoyable evening. Though who knows what that evening will bring? Perhaps I might even favor you with a song." He draws once more from the beverage he was passed, savoring it a moment, examining its taste against his tongue, which maneuvers deftly both in and outside of his mouth through the tasting. "Hmm... can't say I've had this before."
He moved with pliant strides to a table, setting the vessel onto it. His eyes admired the room, as if appraising. He'd been here before though, but it was easier to feign interest in the decor than to openly leer at the assembled ladies. The battle maiden appeared to be much favoring the latter portion of that title at this juncture, and he wondered at her outfit. It looked nice, to be certain, but didn't seem to fit her. Lilith was dressed the same, it could hardly be otherwise as she'd headed straight here from their previous encounter. Idly, he wondered where the rest were but thanked Lastai's grace that none of the men-folk had thus intruded upon the sanctity and solemnity of this occasion. |

Sasha chortled gently, and smiled; "Thank you Lilith, actually my husband makes all of these clothes. He is more skilled than I am with this sort of thing. I guess you could say that he is somewhat of a textile genius."
__________________She looked Earen. "I think a song would be lovely, maybe you can do something that will really wow us," She paused for a moment, and her brow furrowed for a second. "I hear you can cook! Is that true?" Of course she knew it was true, she had done the research and was fully aware of everyone's skill set. However, she didn't want to just brashly assert her knowledge. She drank from her water, and smiled. "I think that we are waiting on Veronique to return, once she does we can eat, and then, we can be on our merry way. Unless you all wanted to leave now? I can make you a few trays to take home. Ren, if you don't have a place to stay, you can always stay with me. I have a spare bedroom," Sasha added. |

It is not long after her "name" is mentioned that Delphine strolls into the party as though she had arrived with everyone else. The way she carries herself make her seem like she is perfectly in place here, even with the odd looking fellow accompanying her. She seems quite pleased with herself, having completed the quest for a hat with no confrontation. Unfortunately, the time it did take left them with no time to procure any other sort of clothing, hence Kirito's unchanged clothing.

Earen smiles, ever one to toot his own horn (though horns themselves were beyond him as his lips were not made to play them), and replies to Sasha. "I am an accomplished cook. I am no marvelous chef, but I cook food which is better than your average fare and nourishing to body and soul."
After a sip of his drink he nods to the other late arrival, before returning his attention to Sasha. "Oh, might I beg your hospitality a bit further? I am also without room this eve. With the knowledge I shant be returning for some time, I have packed only my essentials and they are held by a friend until I need them. My home is a day's travel and I failed to make arrangements for this eve." |

"You can stay with me if you want big boy." Lilith says to Earen, "Though it doesn't matter to me what you do." She leans back to gain a modicum of comfort.

Ren shrugs, sinking deep into her sofa. "Sasha said she was a journalist or something--she was interested in hearing more about Hextor's creed," she says, looking into her cup, unused and uncomfortable being the center of attention once more. "I think she mentioned that she's interested in seeing the monastery on the morrow--if we have time, of course," she sips again at her water, squirming a little at the attention as she sank deeper next to Sasha into the couch.
