Micheal's Epic Campaign
This is where all RP goes as well as actions. Dice should be rolled in Dice Thread so as to not clutter the thread and not be marked as edited if editing a post is necessary. Just add a link under actions to dice rolls and sloppy dice rolls into actions. ************************************************** ************************************************** ***** Standard format for PbP is: "BOLD with Quotes for dialogue" "Italic with Quotes for thought" Standard Text for IC descriptions and flavor text that is not dialogue or thought. Some players choose a color or have one assigned to them to more easily tell players apart and and a bit of flavor to text. If appropriate one can have Secret Text boxes for the DM to hide text from other players (I suggest putting spoiler buttons in it as I will be able to see Secret Text as the DM of the game thread.) |

Piety, capital city of Oashum, center of the world's faith and heart of a nation run on belief. Though quiet now, as most of the city sleeps, the worshipers of the moons and stars, and those who find solace in dreams and visions are still up and about, going through their normal nocturnal patterns. To some people, the grand structures, the constant rhythm and rhyme of choral composition and the carefully placed illumination might portray a beatific home to some kingdom of the higher planes; indeed, such a kingdom's citizens might even be the present, though one would not know it for the neighborhoods to the north. For the time being, at least, the sky-line is obscured by a daunting cathedral to the south, and the rising boughs of the arboreal tower that houses the Guild of the Balance to the north. |

Kaja found herself enjoying her time in the religious capital of the world, if not for the accepting peoples of all moralities then for the varying architecture that seemed to ebb and flow along with the moods of the people. She kept her hood down to view her surroundings better, but always remembered to keep Lucia close in case anything were to happen. Since night fell, however, she was beginning to feel nervous, of all things. Even with enough equipment to tear down anything or anyone around her, she could not shake the nerves.

As night fell, and the meeting time approached 'William' is approached by Court. She tells him it is time to make an appearance. He stands from his kneeling position before the altar of Nuitari. Donning his hood, and letting some of the shadows seep from within his cloak, he proceeds out of the Temple. He begins to make his way towards the assigned meeting place, with Court following behind him. The shadows envelop him all the way there.

Kaja eyed the group of three, preparing to draw her weapons at any time. The guard in the front told her to wait, though, so she made sure to listen. She was new to this strange place, so she figured that their customs were much different from those in Teshesai. One thing stuck in Kaja's mind: why was there a child there?

The child walking among the group of three all of a sudden began bouncing about wildly and pointing towards a nearby group of humanoids, an excited smile breaking out on her lips. She was still holding tight to the taller, older looking woman's sleeve, and making a show of 'restraining' herself from just running over to the group she was pointing at. |

Nars narrowed his Eyes as he put his hand over his brow while Alice pointed them out. "Oh I see them. Didn't notice them there." He shrugged. "Good Eye. Best not to bother them though, I'd Imagine."

'William' gathers the shadows about him and ceases to billow out as he approaches the meeting place. Immediately after doing so, Court points out to him a group of people. "Thank you Court, I can see them now, I was distracted by how beautiful the city is at night" He gives court a brief wink, and stride forward with her at his heels towards the meeting hall, eyes never leaving the newcomers.

((There's not much to DM about when all you're doing is noticing things. Shall I presume that you're walking into the cathedral or that you'd like some time for greetings and characterization? :3))

Eying the group of individuals, Kaja assumed that they were the people with whom the ambassadors were supposed to meet with in the Cathedral. Nonetheless, she did not trust that there was a child flying around, nor the fact that several of them did not have any apparent weapons on their persons. Then again, neither did she. Unless they had some sort of magic-y way to see through Kaja's cloak that she didn't know about, then she merely looked like a dark-furred catfolk in dark clothing to them. That was her problem with magic; one so unfamiliar with it such as herself can ever tell who possesses it's power. Damn sorce-majiggies. Keeping a constant eye on the new group, she remained silent and ushered Teshesai's Ambassador into the Cathedral. Last edited by KingKamor; 08-22-2011 at 07:10 PM. |
