OOC........

The older woman attached to the sleeve which Alice had attached herself to was probably looking increasingly annoyed by the child's behavior, although her jumping around stopped suddenly as Alice began rushing the trio into the Cathedral.

The respective groups make their way inside, the spontaneously appearing trio, the uniformed unit, and the shady Mr. "William," each making their entrance seperately into a visitor's entrance and waiting chamber. The room is illuminated in the night hours by a number of permanent light stones embedded in the walls and at artistically appropriate points in the mural covered cieling, depicting a number of different scenes and symbols of the various gods of the Celestial guild. There is a desk marked as a consierge, but no one presently there. There is a second set of doors further in, left open, of which lead into the main hall of the cathedral, where a small group of humanoids have congregated near an alter at the center of the hall; two in the garbs of some of the other guilds, and likely important members guessing by the intricate designs and imposing fetishes* the bear. One man in a somewhat more subdued outfit, business appearal of Uarcamn, one half-elvan woman in a blue colored dress and a rather dis-interested seeming fellow who seems to have dispensed with the idea of clothing beyond pants. Waiting and looking at the door of which one would imagine you're looking at her through is an older woman in a mix of gleaming armor and a clerical guise denoting Pelor as her patron.

At present, they don't seem to be interacting much, though the busness casual man seems to be chatting with one of the priests.

Nars glanced to either side of the main hall. "Yes, just like home..." Seeing as no one was up to anything particular, and as he was really just along for the ride unless things turned nasty, he decided to occupy himself, pulling out a chess board from his cloak, the pieces carved Marble and Onyx in the Shape of Devils and Demons respectively, and let it go into the air, it floating in the air by invisible force. A chair of sand made itself behind him and he leaned his head against his fist. After a moment the pieces began to move on their own, playing at a decent pace. A look of frustration showed on his face from time to time, and the game went nowhere.

'William' Glides into the room the light stones dimming slightly as he approached and as he passed them they return to their brightly glowing illumination. Smiling he glides towards the cleric of Pelor and greets her pleasantly. Inclining his silver-haired head slightly in a show of respect.

He then proceeds to go talk to the half-elven woman, "Greetings, my lady. I am William Terraris, exiled noble of Shvar. I am enchanted by your beauty, please, what is you're name?"

Things were unexpectedly...boring as they entered the Cathedral. Maybe their were more people to wait for Alice thought as she looked back towards the entrance behind her. She hoped not so, that'd be far too much a waste of time simply waiting on people. Her gaze started to wander now as apparently nothing was happening.

Her eyes locked onto the literally shadowy looking man as he approached the fancy looking, armored lady and struck up a chat with her. Quickly losing interest, her eyes wandered over the group by the alter further inside the main hall and paused over the one who stood out the most; the one wearing naught but pants. She snickered quietly to herself at the sight of him but turned away just as quickly enough.

She suddenly remembered something though and instantly her eyes locked onto the uniformed unit wielding some interesting bits of mechanical stuff. Ditching the two she'd entered with she pushed off and slid across the floor towards them, her hands clasped behind her back and an innocent smile on her face. Nearing them, she outstretched her hand pointing a finger forward and stopped her slide when her finger touched the leg of one of the uniformed people. "Poke."

Pelor's servant nods her head in greeting, and offers a conditioned blessing. "I believe that we're all here, so we should be starting soon."

The half-elvan woman, however, is not as diplomatic. "Alubana Teor, Paths Caste, and I don't care much for idle pleasantries in the middle of the night."

The seasoned soldier smirks at the small girl attempting to get his attention and spares a glance down at her. "There's a lot of important people talking here little one; you'd best stay with your mam'n'pap o'er there 'till after its done, mkay?"

The sudden chess game seems to aquire a moment's distraction from the gathered dignitaries and representatives, but not much more. The Teshan representative clears his throat, then gestures toward the half-elvan woman, announcing to the group "She makes a good point. Unless we're waiting on someone else, let's get this started."

The Cleric of Pelor simply turns back toward the alter and makes her way toward it, speaking as she does so until she reaches the far side of the gathered clique and turns to face them again. "Everyone's here that we expect. Let's begin by introducing anyone else who hasn't done so yet. We'll be dealing with matters of urgancy, and there's little enough room for heasitation, so speak with as much candor as possible. I am Marwen Marthien, Cleric of Pelor and hosting this event on behalf of the Celestial Guild of Oashum. I welcome you all, dire as your news may be, and hope that we shall have His blessings as we go forward."

She turns and gestures toward the Man with the Pants (and not much else). "Sage Laret, speaking for Saveron.

The other two clerics step forward. "I am Archpriest Ashavem, Servant of Wee Jas, and this is Telamir Lightsworn, head of Inquisition for the Seropenean Order, the darkly-clad former says, introducing the similarly-styled inquisitor.

Alice puffed out her cheeks in annoyance and retreated back to her 'mam'n'pap'. Only half listening to the beginning of the introductions, she took her chance after the Archpriest had finished and jumped forward, literally, to stand in the middle of everyone. "My turn!"

She took a moment after shouting her willingness to introduce herself next to quickly straighten out her outfit; repositioning her almost too-big top hat, readjusting the black with white-frilled mantle, tightening the large bow on said mantle, moving the purse hanging across her chest more towards the front, and lastly brushing down her bell-shaped coat. "Alice Dalziel!" she started loudly. "Forced to be here on behalf of Alice's employer, so apparently a representative of Uarcamn! There are probably more important things for me to be doing, but I've been told to deal with this instead. That's all you're allowed to know of me for the time being. Oh! And I wish to be addressed as Miss Dalziel, and I shall address you all as I can remember you by, kay?" She winked to the crowd as she finished.

She childishly stuck her tongue out at the soldier she'd bothered just a moment earlier, then spun around and pointed towards the Cleric of Pelor. "Sparkly-Lady." Her finger moved to point at Sage Laret now. "Pantsman." Then to the Archpriest, the Seropenean Order's head Inquisitor, and lastly the half-elf woman. "Priest-Dude 1...and 2, and Grumpy-Lady." Alice looked quite pleased with herself once that was finished and merrily skated over the floor to return to the two she'd entered with.

Seeing as things where coming along, Nars picked up the Chess board and stuck it back into his cloak. He stood up, the sand chair collapsing and flowing back into Nars cloak from which it came. He stood behind the Archmagistrix and Alice in quiet elegance. He did not wish to have to introduce himself unless it became necessary, along only to complete what was necessary of him at the moment.
He gave a slight chuckle as Alice introduced herself. Even here she showed no restraint. Nars liked her attitude.

Almost laughing at the girl's introduction, Kaja decided that she may as well have come out of the shadows if everyone in the group were to be trusted. Taking a step, seemingly out of nowhere, into the illuminated area of the room, she removed her hood from her head, revealing pitch black hair of medium length with the odd bead tied to it's various locks. Her face, which was as bestial as it was human, was covered with a thin layer of dark fur. The only spots of color were her shining golden eyes.

She took a quick glance around the room at everyone there before saying, "I am Kaja, one of the highest ranking soldiers of Teshesai. I was told to come here on a mission, of which I would like to hear more about soon."

At the Half-Elf's response, 'William' merely gives a polite smile and says "I certainly doubt it would be an idle pleasantry"

'William' barely suppresses his laughter at the little girl's introduction and blatant disrespect. He scan the room, eyes narrowing slightly at the inquisitor, his smile never wavering. When the catfolk appeared from the shadows, he gave he a knowing smile.

"How good of you to join us Kaja. I see you a blessed by the gifts of Shvar. I am pleased to see such a gift giving such a benefit you." He turned towards the little girl. "Miss Daziel is it? A pretty name. I have heard rumors of a plight in Uarcamn very similar to the one that befell my home. I am sure there are many things you might consider more important than this meeting. I can only hope that Uarcamn is still doing well if the rumors are true"

"But where are my manners?" Some shadows begin drifting out from beneath his robes, his eyes becoming a slight shade darker. "I am William Terraris, recently exiled noble of Shvar. I represent my fallen city and a small portion of who remain. I wonder why we have all been gathered here. What sort of mission involves members from many different nations, especially given that not all of these nations have been perfectly friendly towards one another." 'William' gives narrows his eyes slightly on the inquisitor. "I am curious as to what would cause a high ranked soldier of Teshesai, Miss Daziel of Uarcamn, whose city is in some danger, and a member of Savron. Even more intriguing is how anyone persuaded the Highpriest of Wee Jas to enter a celestial cathedral, even if it is a neutral ground at this time."

Kaja's 'emergence from thin air' was watched entirely by Alice even before it happened, so she wasn't so caught off guard as the cat probably was expecting from her audience. Her eyes lit up however when Kaja had removed her hood and displayed her cat-likenes. Leaning forward slightly, she stared at Kaja in awe and curiosity and sparkles that had suddenly appeared around her. Thus most of whatever it was William said to her went barely half-heard, even waving him off as his rambles were distracting her. "No no, there's no problems to waste time worrying about with Alice involved, 'Will-Ee-Am'," she says offhandedly, making heavy emphasis on his name while also making quotes in the air with her finger, all without even looking away from Kaja.

Stepping forward to round out the group's introductions, the leader of the Teshan group speaks out in a gruff voice. "Ambasador Korvis, Speaking on behalf of Teshan interests in the matter we're here to discuss."

The woman of which had come with Alice and her illegibly-green-texted associate* refrains from stepping forward, but manages to anounce herself despite being red-faced and perhaps a bit flustered. "Archmage Aberenium, here on behalf of the Arcanist's Council."

Marwen nods at this introduction, and then takes one last look at the entrance to the cathedral. Appearently satisfied, she turns back to the group. "Most of us here have something significant to our given patrons, employers, leaders or followers or fellows that demands attention. Despite this, we're gathered here, perhaps in one of the few places not under dire troubles of some sort."

"The reason for this, if you have not found it yourself, is that no one here hails from a power great enough to remedy their respective malady alone. The people gathered here are representatives, some, but as you have no doubt noticed not everyone here is a politician. Eye-witnesses to the harm done and the threat imposed upon their homelands stand to describe their troubles."

"What we hope to gain from this is a plan of action that will allow a cooperative effort to defend and protect our own interests and all others who would be willing to invest their resources, or whatever else they can; failure to do so will likely result in catastrophic disruption in our societies, and in our lives as individuals."

The cleric's words echo quietly in the cathedral's acoustics.

Kaja's chin had been resting on her gloved hand for some time as she listened -- despite Alice's distracting stares-- to the cleric. She had no arguments about working with these people if everyone there was, indeed, willing to help everyone else on the mission. However, as much as she agree with the cleric's intentions, she had many questions. Why the secrecy? If this was supposed to be a joint effort between countries, then why not be a little more public about it? It would probably foster better relations between their lands if more knew about it. Moreover, why ask specifically for people such as themselves, as William pointed out?

She let out a sigh. The people she usually answered to in Teshesai did not use so many words so say so little. "Please give us more details about this joint task beyond that we will protect our 'interests.' Who or what are you asking us to protect? Countries? Cities? World leaders? What are we protecting these things from? Devils? Armies? A lone wizard? Be a little less verbose and just tell us." The seemingly magical individuals around her have made her antsy, and she felt a little defeated at that fact. Stupid magica-whatsits.

Alice's head tilted to the side slightly at the cat's questions, a confused look crossing her face for only a moment before switching to a clever smile. "What you mean you don't know, Miss Kitty?" She flipped open a notebook all of a sudden and glanced at it right fast before returning her eyes to Kaja. Giving a slight chuckle, she pocketed her notebook.

Marwen nods in response to Alice's side-ways comment, facing Kaja. "Each state represented here faces a disaster of some sort. If you're so keen for details, perhaps you would do well to describe the one your people are struggling with first."
