What is your favorite D&D (3.5) books?
I love the drunken master class and the Mohrg is kick butt. I would love to see a Mohrg drunken master.

I personally love Frostburn and Heroes of Horror.
__________________Icy, barren wastelands are just awesome to think about; and to imagine myself going into. It has the basic ground for a steamy relationship, brutal military assaults, and a wild, viscous natural landscape that wants to be explored. Heroes of Horror has Dread Necromancers, which is a smexy class. And Archivist which falls into my list of top fave classes. I can't decide though as I also like Stormwrack and Sandstorm. The exotic local books are always a lot of fun to read and imagine what sort of game it could be like. So much so that I am running a Stormwrack-esque game. |

I honestly love Complete Scoundrel. Probably the most underused of all the complete series.

Game Products forum?...
__________________It's a tough call between Libris Mortis (one of my instant favorites) and Complete Scoundrel (it grew on me, especially as my players took Prestige classes from it). |

To sit down and just read to enjoy then it would be Lords of Madness.

Complete mage, and then the location books such as sandstorm and frost burn. Followed by completes and races of and expand psionics.

I'd say the Explorer's Guide for the Eberron Campaign setting. I love the flavor with the bard, especially the little notes like "how to survive an airship crash".

Heroes of Horror is great. It delves more into the methods of creating a horror campaign and tension in your players than just adding puss spewing organ pile monsters that would be par for the course when it comes to DnD.
__________________Complete Scoundrel. I'm a skill junkie and though Complete Adventurer is good Complete Scoundrel is better. Tome of Battle: Book of nine swords. I'll say it again, Tome of Battle is what the fighter should have been. |

Yes, I forgot about Tome of Battle. A 2 tier jump for melee classes actually makes them interesting again.

My favorite is the Monster Manual.
You can do an awful lot with that thing if you know what you're doing; it plays into Summon spells, optional character creation, obscure knowledge on how to kill stuff, and, of course, the all-important Dungeons and Dragons.

I suppose I would have to say Heroes of Horror, Libris Mortis, and Unearthed Arcana.

Book of vile Darkness, Heroes of Horror and Libris Mortis. I'd love to get my hands on a copy of unearthed arcana or any of the Encyclopedia Arcane. I still have all the "slayers guide to..." books somewhere.

I never played 3.0/3.5 but I love the Forgotten Realms so over time I've picked up most of the Realms books from that era for the "fluff." My favorite is probably Lost Empires of Faerun. And hey, now that I've been playing some Pathfinder I'm finally starting to understand some of the mechanical stuff I mostly glossed over!
