Act 1: Investigating the Mystery of the Afflicted
She was travelling between two nations that are at war. She didn't have any particular affiliation to either of them. She was just wandering for the sake of exploring the countryside between them and attempting to escape the stress of war. There seem to be small little paths leading to either side of the main path leading towards Tristrast. They go off in all directions but Feldt cannot seem to see where they lead. She could continue forward towards the town or explore one of the offshoots.

Feldt walks along singing a tune to a song about forests, trees, flowers, and butterflies. She is loving the natural environment that she is now in. It is a refreshing change of scenery to the small enclosed spaces at the mage academy or the restrictive area of the laboratory built by her father. Having visited several of the surrounding villages, she decides on a whim that she can always put off traveling to Tristrast for a little while. Wanting to explore the forest more...or find pretty flowers...she opts to take one of the side paths.

Feldt takes a path that winds to her right, which is South. Feldt wanders about in the trees and doesn't see anything out of the ordinary. She sees some small rodents and spies a deer in the distance. There are markings of larger creatures and even some strange nicks taken out of the larger trees, but nothing seems to be dangerous at all.
__________________She wanders for a while and spies a hut off to her left. There seems to be some sort of rock face with some vegetation growing on it.

The group that was in the cave walk out into the forest with Kal leading. They trudge through the forest in the direction of Feldt. Feldt suddenly hears a lot of activity to her right, towards the rock face. She can spy Kal over the brush but the others are hidden. Feldt can tell that there are more, just not see them. She needs to quickly decide whether to greet them or hide her self or prepare for battle.
__________________The group doesn't notice Spot check DC 20Feldt yet but is quickly making their way to the tavern. Neira responds to both Devin and Kal's toasts with one of her own: To new companions and new treasure which can be used to fight the affliction. I will definately drink to that. Kindli nods and agrees, We're behind on our alcohol intake. We need to catch up during the day. After all, we have quite the story to tell of finding the cave, besting the wolves, searching into the depths of the cave and dark passage, hearing strange noises, finding a strange temple, seeing quite strong magic, searching out a beast, finding a strange green glow, finding a strong bear and besting it quite simply, then coming back and receiving some great presents. Kal was listening carefully to what the dwarven female was saying, mopping up on every one of her words. He could simply nod his head, agreeing fully.
__________________"Devin, you should take an example from Kindli here! She certainly seems to know what she is talking about." The human was licking his lips in anticipation of the alchohol, that awaited him in the near future. Kal remembers the way back vividly and doesn't even need to follow the same way back. He's got a good idea of where they are and how he can find the path west of the Tristrast.
__________________No one notices the small wizard in front of them and instead Kal trudges through the forest to find the small path that she was on. To their right, they see a distant hut which they could inspect, albeit they are all on the tavern track. There is no sign of the small girl anywhere actually. Neira runs up to Kal and punches him lightly in the shoudler. Now we'll need to see if your stomach is as tolerant of the happy fluids as your height is. Most of you realize that that sentence didn't make any sense but maybe you can see past the grammar mistakes to understand her meaning. So what are you looking forward to drinking? I'm partial to good ol' fashioned ale made by Ogden. Oh, Ogden would be very unhappy if he heard you calling it Atma's tavern. Kindli walks over to Devin and pats him on the back. You're quite useful out there. I couldn't have done what I did out there without you. What did you do when you were younger? It seems like you've got some good history back there. Kindli smiles at Devin and is looking stunning in her new shiney armour. You imagine that it might get a little hot in this blaring sun. A sheet over the darkest parts might be good. Feldt sees the tall human leading the group and a small young halfling jump up next to him. They seem to be relatively friendly but have not known each other for a while. Behind them, she sees two dwarves in heavy armour. One of them looks older but still strong and must be formidable in battle. The other one is in black armour with a golden dragon on the chest and shoulder plates. It looks like the armour is quite powerful and expensive. It may even have something else going on with it. Otherwise, the dwarf seems equally formidable in battle, especially considering that she's carrying a spiked shield and an ax. DC 15 Nature check to determine that she's a she. DC 20 Int check that she's a cleric.

Neira and Kindli jump and draw their respective weapons. They don't register that something has been said and inspect their position in case there is something strange going on. Neira seems to particularly scared about this. Their eyes stay trained on the space inside the circle.
