Oh, and don't take anything Ingolf thinks or says personally. He is pretty ignorant of the outside world and will lighten up as time goes on.

Ooh, a monk. Cool. I've yet to actually see one played. I'm anxious to see how it works out.

Or, at higher levels.... *Tap monster with Quivering Palm*
DM: "You can now instantly kill the monster any time during the next week regardless of distance or other factors." |

That's kinda creepy. That would make for an interesting political assassin. Who would ever expect the man greeting nobles at the door?

Hmm... that could make an interesting idea for an evil campaign.
The thing with quivering palm is it can only be used once a week if I remember correctly, and if you use it and miss (you actually do have to make an attack roll, there's some punching involved) then you can't use it for another week. This is pretty much one of the monk's biggest advantages over other martial classes; otherwise only spellcasters have the ability to make insta-kill touch attacks. (I may be remembering the PH incorrectly, please correct me if I'm wrong.) |

Lol go look at my uber build (I stole it and then tweaked it because it was not optimized enough for me...)

Strangely, I just got ahold of the Naruto d20 rulebook. Makes 3.5 look simple by comparison....

Forget the system (my IR group is doing it every other week) but it is RIDICULOUS, like every attribute has attributes and there is a stat for ever possible thing that may ever arrive. It's cool though, because you can invest points into making custom weapons, so I made a rogue dagger-sniper and it has a thing on his wrist so whenever he draws the blade and throws it a new blade magically appears. Working on getting enough points to make the old blades turn into rust and give the guy a poison dmg (tetanus FTW!) |
