You see nothing else on the horizon. Emily rides over to the side of the road and hops off her horse. She picks up the crate and looks at it.

"There are those who would say that the only reason we found these is because we will need them somewhere down the road." Mai said, giving the potions to Kavrae.

Ryn takes the potions carefully. "A believer of fate or karma, are you?" He holds one of the bottles up for closer inspection. "What do you suppose is in them?"

"Potions, most like it says on the labels."
One of the potions is a Potion of Cure Moderate Wounds, the second a Potion of Cat's Grace, the third a potion of Bear's Strength. |

Delnal without word got off his horse. He adjusted his sadle strap before remounting his horse. He calmly removed his monk robe hood revealing his face and the tatoo of healing upon his bald head. Cracking his neck slightly he looked about the group. " I am Delnal Raksayor from the Temple of Sifora. I was unsure wether to trust you all so I remained silent." Delnal reached into his robe and fiddled with something then returned to his relaxed seated position.

Maiaya stayed on her horse, watching as some of the group gathered off to the location of the crate. She watched everything from her vantage point on her horse, most especially Emily.
When Delnal finally spoke, it startled her. This was a strange time to introduce himself, even to his own party. She was under the impression they all knew each other by now. She watched as he reached into his robe, and stayed alert wondering what he was up to. She kept a vigilent eye on this silent stranger not knowing what exactly he was up to. The potions were a fortuitous find. She was interested in how they came to be in their posession. Surely a caravan would have noticed it fall, and most certainly a single wagon would hear its decent. Still, she wasn't one to give up something simply because of her unsure feelings. She watched Emily until she climbed back upon her horse. |

"A lucky start to this mission. Shall we be on?? We still have a good deal of riding to do." Ingolf said, edging his horse forward as the others remounted. "It is good to meet another from a temple," the normally somewhat rude warrior said to Delnal.

Ryn carefully packed the potions into the wagon, ensuring that they wouldn't slide around easily. After securing the new items he hops back into the seat beside Grac. "Seems it's nothing more than a lucky find of a few potions from a passing wagon. A bit strange though, don't you agree?"

Grac sucked on his pipe and nodded. "Aye, 'tis a wee bt odd. I dun' like it, nota wee bit! We's got a sayin' 'bout such occurances... but I cannae recall wha i'tis..." Soon Grac had drifted off into mumbling various phrases to himself. After a moment he shook his head and sighed, "Well, best be off!"

The day wears on and the sun begins to set. The main road continues on, but a road sign points to the left for Kaarthas, down a smaller raod that seems less traveled. A cool wind kicks up around you as you continue. You soon find yourself in front of a small farming town. It is surrounded on all sides by a 3 foot stone wall with a break in the wall to the north. You cannot see the other sides, but you assume that there is one each at the east and west, as you can see guards standing there.
__________________The north entrance is guarded by two tall humans, each wielding a halberd. They both have short swords buckled to their waists, and they are dressed in studded leather armor. They wear helmets that cover their foreheads but do not extend to block their vision. They have no shields that you can see. As you approach, they step forward to stop you. "Halt. State your name and purpose," the one guard demands. The other stands two steps behind, towards the opening in the wall, halberd leveled just in case. |

The guards look at each other for a moment, as if trying to decide exactly how to proceed. The guard in the back simply shrugs his shoulders.
__________________"You can enter, but you must report to the Captain. The barracks is in the center of town, directly across the square from the Town Hall," the guard states flatly. |

Ingolf closed his eyes and shook his head at the loudmouthed dwarf. Just another reason the stunties are not worth their weight gold. The noble warrior nodded his head in thanks. As he passed the guards he added, "We were sent to determine the source of your goblinoid raiders. We will report to the captain." He quickly turned back to anyone behind him, "Let us go," he said as he rode toward the center of town.
