Wanting to save at least a few spells for the meantime, Ganch crosses over through his own ranks and
Dice Attack:
1d20+4 (14)+4 Total = 18
1d8+3 (5)+3 Total = 8
swipes his mace at the third goblin, directing his hound to
Dice Attack roll, followed by opposed STR for trip attack:
1d20+2 (3)+2 Total = 5
1d20+2 (7)+2 Total = 9
trip if possible during his last few moments of existence.

The goblin captain's body goes limp as he finds himself hanging by his head off Gunther's Glaive. The goblin next to him falls to the ground, struck down with with a bone-fracturing Thunksh. As the summoning spell ends, and the celestial hound fades away into the mist the two remaining goblins panic and flee, knowing that they are both outnumbered and outgunned. They sprint away down the hall, leaving one last moment to shoot them down before they turn out of sight. One could chase them, but that may lead you into unforeseen challenges deeper in the caves that you might be unprepared for.

OOCThe goblins are fleeing, and you have a change to shoot them down if you have anything that can reach a range of 120. There is no map for this, because i feel this particular moment doesnt need one.

Note that once an encounter is completed, you get the xp for each creature involved. You still recieve xp for escaped goblins, and from the wolves before. Your decision to confirm the kill should be in regards to whether you are worried of them coming back to do you harm later or not, rather than anything mechanical

"Aw tripe! They're getting away!" Dancer snarls as the remaining two goblins fled. Moving quickly, the elf drops her sword on the ground even as she draws her bow, and looses at the closer of them.
MechanicsMove: replace shield
Free as part of move: draw bow
Free: drop sword
Standard: 3+1(bard song)-2 range
Dice Attack and Damage:
d20+2 (17)+2 Total = 19
d6+1 (3)+1 Total = 4

Gunther merely replaces the Glaive where he keeps it tied to his back. He doesn't have anything that can reach that far, and it would be a waste of a perfectly good axe.

"We're being paid to go in and take a look around. Not kill goblins or their masters. Some treasure would be very nice, but life is still more precious than gold." Gunther said. "I propose we make a short stop here and assess our position and gear. No more than ten minutes, but I want to know who has what. Ropes, chains, light sources, oil, anything else that might be useful." Gunther said, taking on a tone of command but somehow remaining diplomatic with it.

The Darkmantle Fight


OOCYou have surprise against the Darkmantles. You Also all won initiative, so you can each take both actions at once.

That includes Alkese. Trying something new with inititative; i roll three checks, one for the party, one for Alkese, one for the monsters. This way Alkese is not always doomed to go late, but the rest of the group still has 6 more initiative than her. This time, everyone beat the monsters.

Everyone can just start counting their movement from when they enter the map from the bottom. The Darkmantles are on the roof, so for the first round you will need ranged or reach weapons to hit them.

Move action: move 30 to the square two squares south(relative) of the southernmost Darkmantle.
Ready action: to attack as the Darkmantle drops into range(since I have a reach weapon)

Alkese steps forward towards the creatures. Realizing she cannot reach them quickly, she lets out a terrible shout that bounces around in the small tunnel, and a crackling ball of purple energy flies out of her.
