I started this a little prematurely back when people were putting up apps, but it might be reasonable for us to work out some relationships between characters. For example, VaricoseDwarf and I were discussing our characters having a friendship that dates back to when she was a college student and he was working as a shuttle pilot.

On my end, it seems reasonable that after being selected as civilian crew for the Jormungandr, Ellen might have gotten some (very) basic military training (the kind that comes into play only when the whole ship is about to be overrun). One of the groundpounder types interested in having taught a class of civvie hob-mods to shoot a gun and administer first aid?

Kalib could have given some basic weapons training to the hobbs. Just a simple instruction mission for him.

I think he's a perfect fit. Based on your application RP, I'm sure Kalib will have a great time trying to whip a bunch of 3' tall civilians into shape for their first trip into space.

@Wretch: Maybe we should have a Characters thread where we can post our character concepts and keep track of our stats and inventories.

Nice pic. I'm shopping Ellen around to some of the artists that do commission work for me, but none of them do anything quite so photorealistic.

I just googled 'guy drawing'. I kinda dislike the way the guy looks (looks a bit ******y) but i don't want to bother friends with talent and i'm too lazy to look more. Plus the idea of paying someone to draw what amounts to a glorified nerd is a definite no.

Maybe latwr on when he's got some achievements under his belt.

Still I have several gigs of fantasy themed pictures and only a handful of sci-fi stuff... And most of it is for SW or Serenity...
