Finally, the hard core match rules might be confusing. If you do not understand them please let me know. Basically you can attack the door instead of an opponent if you soo choose. To hit the door you only need to have a higher action than anyone targeting you.

Once the door opens you get to try to go through (by beating any opponent who targets you with a move with an athleticism roll of your own). You also get a free, unopposed roll if you happen to be the one to break open the cage door.

There is some strategy here because once that door is open, it will be very hard to stop at least one person from getting out. It is also going to take some damage to get the door open!

What if I attack the door with an opponent (say slamming their head into it)? Do door and opponent take equal damage? Do I use the House On Fire rules?

You can describe the action any way you want, but only your target suffers damage just like any other time. If you use house on fire, the dor counts as any other standard opponent.

Oh by the way ( and i feel silly asking this) How exactly are we doing the promo's/matches. Do we take turns describing or tell you and you write what happens....

Also do we just run the Promo's like a normal PbP thing?

Normal PbP thing. It is your promo. Go nuts! All I ask is that you leave th owner and commissioner out of the promo as they are effectively player characters.

If you have specific questions that are not covered in the book let me know.

Otherwise run your promo, roll for heat and call it a wrap!

DB, every request will not make it onto the card. WK lost a promo to. If it didn't make it on this card it can go to the next card. If SS wants to change her first promo (Amata/Father) I will change it to Amata/Snow.

Amata has quite a few promos already. She is taking over Wrestlemania!!!

In regard to the World Title match: Hold on a second, I have to edit Cambion (AGAIN!!!!

I'm really beginning to hate this game...and considering I haven't played it yet, this is not a good sign). Apparently I have to replace a Gimmick Enhancer (YET AGAIN!!!!) because I just found out he doesn't qualify for it. I might just say **** it, and make an entirely new character to take his spot on the roster. I don't want to because I'm a huge Undertaker fan, but at this rate, making a an expy of him isn't becoming worth my lack of enjoyment.

The deception check has to do with your opponent being stunned for the first round. I believe thats it.

Book check anyone?

Ambush isn’t confined to just people inside a ring; you can do it anywhere.
Outside the context of a match, you initiate a run-in by spending a segment and rolling
your Athleticism + Deception, opposed by your target’s Instinct + Perception roll to
sense you coming. If you win, the opponent is stunned for one round as if distracted.
Combat then continues normally from there on the following round.

[Seems like its just for one round to see if you stun the opponent like Rinjo said.]

Yep, according to the book it's the deception check to see if they're stunned then "combat continues normally".

I'll try to get Worthington's promo up tomorrow and I need to get in touch with Maverick's player about our group promo prior to the tag match.
