The battle, known now as Weeping Night, was fought in total darkness, yet the human army overcame insurmountable odds to win the fight. 0 B.C. – Finally back in present day Caerost, Gerard Carite commands every inch of Zenarth’s land. He renames his province the Carite Empire, crowning himself Emperor Carite. Last edited by Majblitz; 05-01-2011 at 03:47 AM. |

1 D.C. (During Carite) – The Emperor proclaims that all races other than humans are subservient to them.
250 D.C. – Emperor Gerard Carite dies, having outlived numerous generations of his own children. His current oldest son assumes the throne. 250 D.C. – In a show of power, the new Emperor Carite has all government officials appointed by his father killed. This is known as The Cleansing. 251 D.C. – Subservient races attempt a rebellion. Emperor Carite leaves his castle with only a contingent of a score of soldiers and meets the rebel army at night. The next day he returns alone and the entire rebel army has disappeared. 252-970 D.C. – The Carite Empire develops a history of extremely long lived rulers, but each ruler seems to become more and more tyrannical in their ruling styles and harsher in their treatment of subservient races. Rebellions take place during this time, but none are of note except that the armies always either disappear or are entirely slaughtered. No rebel has ever survived an encounter with the Carite army or even Emperor Carite himself. 972 D.C. – Murmurings of a rebellion sweep through the ranks of the subservient races. 974 D.C. – Galefinas Vauiler is established as the leader of the rebellion. He is an elf. 974-985 D.C. – Galefinas and his large band dodge the Carite army at night and perform hit-and-run style attacks against the Carite army during the day, gradually wearing them down. 986 D.C. – A human army begins a siege of the Carite city, this forces the Carite army to withdraw from handling the rebellion. 987 D.C. – Carite dislodges the siege but allows his army rest while he attempts to recruit more soldiers. Finding none willing, he forces every male he can into his army. 991 D.C. – Emperor Carite marches out with his new force. 995 D.C. – Unable to find the rebel army, Emperor Carite and his forces return home. 996 D.C. – Emperor Carite finds his castle and city under a new regime, and his own walls locked to him. He immediately begins a siege. 999 D.C. – Galefinas Vauiler challenges Emperor Carite to a duel to decide the fate of the Carite Empire. The fight happens at night, under the light of over a hundred torches outside the city’s walls. Galefinas Vauiler slays the Emperor, but demands a funeral for him. The body is carried inside the castle and kept under guard until the last Emperor Carite is buried. Last edited by Majblitz; 03-27-2011 at 07:30 PM. |

5 A.C. – After much debate, humans are forced to live in the Great North as their civilization center, much like humans did to the other races so long ago. 100 A.C. – Provinces ruled by elves are established in place of the old human provinces due to the expulsion of the human race. 400 A.C. – A new Elven province is established for the new race of elves, called Wood Elves. 500 A.C. – The orc race descends from their mountain homes and forcefully takes land away from the wood elves. 501 A.C. – Instead of merely pillaging and retreating, their begin construction of defenses. A messenger to the wood elven province explains that the orcs wish to create a kingdom there. 501 A.C. – The province retaliates with multiple attacks, and establishing a siege of the new constructions. 503 A.C. – News of the attack and the orc nation’s wishes reaches the ears of the leader of the largest elven province, who immediately rides with his entire army to the site. 504 A.C. – The leader, Kileurt Loqme, cautions his wood brothers to halt their attack. In a meeting with the orc leader, Kileurt signs a treaty giving them the land they have already begun construction on. 737 A.C. – Mount Narmor becomes active, adding land to the tiny island in the middle of the Lake Aelin. 800 A.C. – An earthquake like none ever felt before ravages the west coastline of Zenarth, the ensuing Tsunami wipes away most traces of existence along the western coast. 889 A.C. – Mount Orod, on the western side of Lake Aelin, now also becomes active, though not much molten rock has erupted forth from it as yet. 938 A.C. – A gigantic storm covers Lake Aelin for 2 months, lightning strikes any boat that sets sail on the lake during this time. 954 A.C. – Over a score of Tornadoes are reported to touch down on the Gnome province over the course of 3 days. 982 A.C. – Fish in Lake Aelin are discovered to be dying at an incredibly fast rate, fear spreads that over the next 50 years the lake could be without the creatures. 504- 999 A.C. – The longest period of peace that has been recorded in history. The races of destruction are rarely seen, though they still raid small settlements, but with a much lower frequency than before. 999 A.C. – Present Day Last edited by Majblitz; 05-09-2011 at 04:54 AM. |
