Just a thought... Also, I made some custom items according to the DMG rules, but seeing someone else asking about a custom Item I figured I should run them by you. Necklace of Greater Mighty Wallop (CL 16th) - Continuously grants the wearer the effects of the greater mighty wallop spell (RotD) Expeditious Boots - Continuously grants the wearer +30 ft to land speed. (Will add the pricing later, when I have access to that excel file again.) |

There were likely quite a few other adventurers they worked with on those occasions as well, who weren't lucky enough to make the long and dangerous journey to level 20 without being killed or deciding to find a safer job. Must happen quite often in that line of work. At some point the six PCs realize that they're the only ones left from those days who have gotten this far and find that they've accomplished most of the goals they set out to do when they took up adventuring, and are now left finding something worth doing with all the power they've accumulated. And the way they are now it isn't too hard to track each other down and arrange a meeting to discuss it. Or maybe I'm making it more complicated than it needs to be. I just feel like it's a bit more believable like that. |

Ah coolness...actually brings up something I am curious about...Followers...
Now I can think of several ways I could do the followers, but it seems to me like it would bog down the game (at least for me) so do any of you have any suggestions for this. I was actually thinking I would RP them out, but the other main thought I had was a sort of standing army (which would also go well with my background. Open to suggestions on this. Either way I can post anytime, but I was hoping to be the last one to "enter" because otherwise it will be difficult to find the group. Possibly throw up a pre-entering RP soonish. |
