He began typing on his Keyboard again. "Well it looks like another Party has also taken the quest, registered it this morning. But the swamps are difficult to track through, so it is possible to arrive there ahead of them if you wish to continue. Considering you are going through the Swamp, you'll likely need about two weeks supplies, as well as medical supplies in case of infections and sickness. It is best to be on your guard as well. Lizardfolk live in the forest, amongst other things." He shrugged. "Apparently Black Dragons live within it as well, though as far as I know, none have been sighted for over 70 years. Not much time in Dragon Years mind you, but still." He slid a piece of paper over to Kiera. "I'll need all party members associated with the guild to sign this, as well as put down there Guild member Number, if they are to receive proper compensation after the Quest is complete."

"Oh, kay..." Kiera pulled a pen out of her pocket and started to sign the paper with her name first, stopping however and looking back up at the orc. "Guild member number? I don't recall getting that when I registered..."

"It should be on your Guild Badge."

"Oh, haha." She pulls out the badge she'd been given earlier and found the number she was looking for then wrote it down on the paper next to her signature. Turning back to the group with her, she tried to get all of their attentions. "So, ah, I need all your signatures and guild member numbers, guys? Well, he does." She gestured towards the clerk. "On the paper." She then gestured to the paper in front on the desk.

She looked at Ratha with a bit of a blank look. "Oh." She looked down, then back up and around the group before pointing at Kurin. "Kurin, get the others' and yours' signatures and guild member numbers, if they have em. Ratha, come with me please." She gave Ratha a smile as she approached him and took his hand, pulling him with her to the Adventurer Registration area of the room to get him registered.

Ratha follows, first like a child following his mother and then at a more even pace with Kiera. He doesn't let go of her hand as they walk.

"Member number?" The armored man grumbled slightly as his searched over for his own. He was distracted by his thoughts of the group he managed to join. They seemed an odd bunch. If they didn't hold up, he'd just have to finish this himself.

"I'll be right back too; need to get registered as well."
__________________As he was heading over to the registration area Kurin was muttering under his breath, "Registration hell, this is getting less fun by the minute. And when did I end up as number two here?" He continued muttering all the way over to the registration desk but he did go through the whole process before heading back over with a sigh. "Right then, where was I? Number?" He scratched his name on the paper with a quick, untidy scrawl and jotted the number down with a lot of double checking against his badge number. |

Ratha's registration went a little slow, but they eventually got it over with and went back to the rest of the group at the quest counter. She jotted down Ratha's member number for him, as well as his name as it seemed Ratha didn't know how to read or write the language. "Xitch? Ellyjole? And..." She noticed she'd not heard the name of the armored man yet. "Oh, I didn't catch your name...I'm Kiera." She introduced herself to the armored man, extending a hand.

Xitch proceedes to follow the group, bringing up the rear and returning to his notebook as he jots down a few more reminders for later interactions.
'Strangers seem to avoid physical contact; tatooed individual anomylous. Individual in armor seems more accepted than the current form; consider revision of mechanical aspect. Average response to "Familiar" Xitch was negative. Avoid displays of such for the time being.' |

....But, realizing a moment later that something had been asked of him, he then panics. 'Hmmm...I don't know that I have one either, but lacking a proper residence or title that would translate easily into their caligraphy, it would seem I'll have to improvise. After a few quick glances at the other numbers on the page, and a swifter glance at the ambient thoughts in the room, he attempts to follow whatever patterns or numerical conventions of which are consistant within the average population. He then generates a similar pattern of numerals, as well as his name and appropriate information.

The little Gnome gave a nod "Hm Hm, Agreed." She started to look through her bag, growing frustrated as time passed and she still could not find it. Then after a few moments, she pulled out a laminated card in Triumph. "Ahha!" She then proceeded to pull out a overly large Quill Pen, colored in a variety of colors, and jotted down her name. She gave another nod "Okaydone." She beamed a smile.
