I am sorry to report that I will have to put this game on hold for a while. It is my sincere hope that we will all be able to resume posting come December, but until then I am simply too busy to keep up a reasonable posting schedule.

This game so far has been more fun than I ever thought play by post could be, and it seriously pains me to put the game on hold with the full understanding folks may simply (and understandably) abandon the game altogether. Again, I hope we can all see this as a break, not an ending, and come back to the game in mid December.

The good news for me is that I have found almost full-time work as a college English teacher and writing center coordinator! This is a lifelong dream for me, and though it is tortuous to have little time for anything besides work at the moment, I am happy to be doing what I want to do for a living.

I will check OOC and game threads here periodically. It'd be nice for all of us to chime in on whether or not we think we'll be willing to stay tentatively committed to this game despite the long break.

Merry meet, merry part, and merry meet again,

-Hal

Hey congratulations man. Thats the golden rule of the game. Real life > role play. And personally Id love to pick the game up when you get the chance. The characters i play are some ive been working on for a long time, and these games justt allow me to add more to there personality and story.

Maybe one day Ill start a book for them.
