Any of the skeletons from S2, B1, B2, D4, D5, D6. If Melody has an area or burst attack that can take out the minions (D4, D5, D6), that might be good to start witling down the opposition. Ullgar is going to try and occupy Graelnor so all those skeletons need to be taken care of. Hopefyully Belfegor and Rizen will help out over there .

Only area burst 1 - I'd only be able to hit one of them. Perhaps next turn they'll move a little closer to each other and I can blow them up in one shot.

I was joking when I made the comment about "Thinning the herd" but after seeing those rolls by Hippo, I may have to be serious about it. Who wants to start taking bets on who is going down and who will make it out of the encounter alive?

Right - working on the description of the combat round, but the rolling is done. Combat info is posted. After I post the combat description you are free to flee in the next round.

Revived - you should also remember that you each (Trent, Ullgar and Melody) lost a healing surge in the Revival process.

Oh yeah, Hippo, if someone shifts while adjacent to Rune could you please specify, since I get to attack them when they do that.

Just a heads-up that I have two exams next week (in Probability Theory and Infinitesimal Calculus 3 if you wondered) and haven't had much time to study for them yet, so my activity will be greatly reduced during that week; I don't expect to post every day.
I am caught up and willing to join the game now, to provide another target for this horrible slaughter unfolding. PbP combats are usually slow, so I can post every other day without delaying anything much, or I can even post mechanics very quickly and then fill them in with fluff. However, it may be most practical if I only join the game next weekend, to avoid slowing anything down right from the start. Hippo, what is your preference? Sorry for not bringing this up earlier; I sort of expected to enter the game a little sooner, or a little later. Last edited by Nocturnal; 09-07-2011 at 10:42 AM. |

Might not be a problem for you to have your entrance delayed because them Hippo can stagger both our characters coming in. Mine can come in first then yours. Since it seems you would rather wait so you can focus more on your studies, which is quite admirable, I don't think it would hinder at all given what our characters are.

Noc - I think you should get in there. The pace has been pretty slow anyway, so a post every other day isn't really going to slow things down. Also in combat if you only have time to post mechanics and want to fill in the fluff a little later, that is fine too.

Hey guys, thanks for leaving the healer alone with a group of angry enemies. And Jay, did you remember the +1 to all attack rolls and +3 damage Magic weapon gave Melody?

What are you whining about, didn't the new guy just get them off you and your sorceress blast them to powdered bone? Read over previous players' posts and the mechanics thread.
