I'll ping him again today to see if he is alright. I'll also contact the first back-up and see if he still wants to play. I'll aim on getting this sorted out today. Thanks for everyone's patience. Once I know for certain about Guyv, I'll get the first post up. We can work on some RP while characters are adjusted.

Guyv is back - he was injured over the Memorial Day weekend and is recovering, which explains his absence. I will work on getting the game kicked off - hopefully tonight. If the home life means I can't manage tonight I will get things rolling tomorrow.

Yes, sorry for holding everyone up with my jackassery. It does honestly make me feel really crappy knowing that you guys were waiting for me, well as crappy as a man with his leg in two pieces can feel, but you get the point.

Really in whatever makes sense. You can manifest in a different, more idealized set of clothing if you like. Just not in a magic item or armor. We'll get you all equipped very, very soon.

This is the first game I've played with such a small amount of knowledge known about the various characters, so finding out more about each other should part of the fun. In my post I've got several "secret" tags containing information relevant information about Trent observable via various checks, in this case, Streetwise (to determine his likely profession based on what he's wearing) and Insight (because he happens to have made a bluff check) As characters go ahead and qualify for the knowledge, I'll go ahead and add them to the secret tags' permissions (or Hippo can do it, if I'm not on)
I'm using the standard skill DCs for level 3 as outlined in the Rules Compendium (Easy=9, Medium=13, Hard=21) for the streetwise check, while an insight check would be opposed by his bluff check. (If you guys want to go ahead and tell me your passive insight scores, I can auto-add qualifying players to the permissions. I didn't find character sheets for Zuul or Rizen, but I perused the rest to see if anyone had a passive insight high enough to automatically qualify.) I don't want anyone to feel like they need to use this system or anything like it, and you can all ignore Trent's intrigue if you prefer. I'm going pretty cloak-and-dagger with Trent, so I figured this would be a neat way to get people thinking about what he's really all about. EDIT: I guess we aren't corporeal yet, so none of us has met. I'll do the same thing as soon as we get to that bit (got ahead of myself sorry) Last edited by Phil; 06-03-2011 at 05:21 PM.

If everyone wants to go with the physical manifestation, that is fine as well. It doesn't really matter that much. The creation of the artifact will require an extra step that could "dematerialize" you some. I can really go either way. Half the Revived have gone with the full manifestation - we can work that as well.

__________________Well Ullgar is not necessarily in a physical manifestation. Actually, the others could see him as an ethereal figure or not see him at all. Ullgar doesn’t know he is not in physical form. His initial reaction would be that he is in a “normal” state.

 And streetwise may not necessarily work if we're from different planes, so I'm not sure how to answer you streetwise check about Melody, Phil. I like what you did though, I'm excited about learning each character's backstory too!!
